When we find ourselves in a crisis situation, we need to be aware that we are (most likely) to blame for it ourselves. By getting to know ourselves, we will discover what causes conflicts and crises in us. By working on ourselves, we best eliminate the causes of the crisis.
We communicate in a crisis when we want to solve a crisis situation, but what is a crisis situation, what is a crisis and who creates it.
We! We are creating a crisis ourselves.
So if we create it ourselves, we can save it ourselves! Yes, it’s that easy.
However, the biggest mistake we make is that we do not want to admit that we are the cause of the crisis, so we cannot solve it.
Whether we have caused the crisis ourselves or found ourselves in it in any way, we need to get out of it as soon as possible. A crisis is just a state of the relationship, the worse the relationship, the bigger the crisis. If we respond to an argument or a sad word, we have entered a state of crisis directly.
I have already read a lot and listened to how to effectively solve crises or. what communication techniques to use to solve the crisis or prevented. However, whenever we talk about technique, we are talking about some learned or. role played. So with the help of techniques we learn how to establish ourselves in a non-conflicting role. If we play roles, we are basically still in conflict and can cause crises.
Instead of spending a lot of time learning roles, it’s better to dedicate that time to getting to know yourself. For only when we know ourselves will we know what is inside us that causes conflicts and crises. Thus, by working on ourselves, we will begin to eliminate the causes. And we will never be in a crisis situation again and there will be no need to communicate in a crisis. When we know ourselves well enough, crisis communication can become our job, as others will hire us to resolve their disputes. As outside observers, we will see the real picture, and we ourselves will never fall into conflict.
