How do you get out of a personalcrisis? “When you are up to your neck in shit, do not bow your head”

The lesson of all rivers, fine words... is that we need to know ourselves well enough to help each other.

Counselors, therapists, teachers, gurus… just show us the way and teach us the skills to be ready for the moment when we meet ourselves. We get into a crisis by our own power and we have to get out of it ourselves. I will not talk in the article about why and how we get into a personal crisis, the focus will be primarily on the solution and at the same time on the advice not to fall back into a personal crisis.

We have always tried to find many explanations or solutions in nature and in natural phenomena. After all, nature has “worked” for billions of years and still exists. And who takes care of it? Alone! Just like man, we are always left alone in the end. We always have to take care of ourselves, because in the end we always make the decisions. Whatever we do, we always have to decide.

And if we are really alone in the end, we have to be prepared for it. We have to be strong enough to stand up to ourselves so that we do not fall under the burden of the burdens we have imposed on ourselves.

To inform you,                                                                                                          to open your eyes                                                                                                     for the time of your decision has come,                                                                    when you read this book,
you will go with the times                                                                                          and start a new life,                                                                                                    you will overcome fear                                                                                              and become the Lord of the universe and yourself.

BUT BEWARE!

Every man has his limits.
(Introduction to the book Warrior without Face, 1994, Milan Krajnc)

The lesson of all rivers, fine words… is that we need to know ourselves well enough to help each other. Counselors, therapists, teachers, gurus… just show us the way and teach us the skills to be ready for the moment when we meet ourselves. We get into a crisis by our own power and we have to get out of it
ourselves.

Now on the path and back to nature.

Take the course of a stream as an example. If the stream flows, it is drinkable and clear, if it is dammed somewhere, the water in it becomes of bad taste and smell. The main difference is the temperature. The stream in the stream is colder. And if we look, where do we humans prefer it? In the warm. So you might say we like to stop and warm up a bit.

How to get out of a personal crisis? "If you're up to your neck in shit, don't bow your head!" - Milan Krajnc

We are almost always looking for comfort, or rather lightness. And the state of the stream in stagnation is equal to the state of the person in stagnation. When we feel good or safe in a situation, we try to “anchor” ourselves there. This security is basically just a feeling and is called the “comfort zone“; we are warm there and why should we move if we are nice, we manage the situation. Perhaps
even like the saying: “Better the first in the village than the last in the city.”

And as it gets warmer for us, we find it harder and harder to move. When I go back to the creek, to the part where we dammed it up – the dead sleeve, we could say that it’s getting warmer and warmer, but it also “smells” more and more, not to mention tastes. So we are talking about a comfort zone. However, we ourselves feel this as a bad feeling, dissatisfied with ourselves, the environment also hinders us… we could say that we are feeling the first signs of a personal crisis. We complain, but we do not know why, because basically there is nothing wrong with us.

To sum up: when a stream flows, it is clear and drinkable; when we are in “movement – we develop – we grow personally”, we are satisfied with ourselves, we are happy. When the stream is dammed – dead sleeve, the water is tasteless, disturbed and has a bad smell; when we do the same for a long time, we do not develop, we start to be dissatisfied with ourselves, we are depressed, everything
around us is “wrong”. This means that we have to get out of this comfort zone, even though we feel warm and comfortable. We will “stink” in this puddle, and everyone will avoid us, even though it is usually overfilled in such puddles. But nobody likes frogs either.

We call a “comfort zone” a state in which we feel good in principle, but we know that not everything is right, and yet we do not move until there is a crisis.

How to get out of a personal crisis? "If you're up to your neck in shit, don't bow your head!" - Milan Krajnc

It is the most dangerous zone because it can deceive us very quickly, it lowers our self-confidence and we lose our sense of reality. A friend said ten years ago that “one joint a week really cannot kill”; I went to his funeral yesterday because he died of a heroin overdose; but now he’s carefree, forever.

When we enter the zone of the period, we must above all be stable, and it is only suitable for a short rest. A longer stay can be “fatal”. In any case, it opens the door to a dark world, which we call a personal crisis. The personal crisis begins in our head and then slowly passes to the physical organs, which at first leads to colds, headaches… and eventually cancer. Now this does not mean that everyone who sits down and rests for a while will die of cancer, but it does mean that we should never forget ourselves.

There is always a way out of a personal crisis. But not in the easy way that we got into them.

How to solve the crisis? How to get out of the problem and solve it? - Milan Krajnc

How can the crisis be resolved, how to get out of the problem and how to solve it

When solving crises, the first step is the most important, if we make a mistake with the first step, it is better to withdraw immediately.

The crisis can be solved by those who are not burdened with the problem. That is why it is always advisable in companies to hire a crisis management team, a group of external consultants or a consultant to cut the “Gordian knot”, calm the terrain (communication, atmosphere, organization) and prepare the ground for a new organization. Then there must be a leadership or a guide to bring the new organization to life. This person is actually the new director.

Every day I hear the sentence: “How do I solve the crisis? The answer can be very simple when we know who caused the crisis. It is of course more difficult to solve. But the first condition we have to be aware of is that every crisis is solvable. The most difficult thing is to solve the crisis that we ourselves have caused. We make the biggest mistake when we start to solve the crisis that we ourselves have caused, because the result will be an even bigger crisis.

When we solve a crisis, we must not be narrow-minded, but must rise very high above the problem and always look at it globally or as a “big picture”. Only in this way can we begin to solve the crisis at the right end.

A former director (when we talk about a company) or a crisis manager can never run a company when it comes out of a crisis. Why? The former director’s behavior has brought the company into a crisis, which means that he must first change his behavior patterns if he wants to run the company in a different way (so that he can continue to run the company conditionally) if there is no new crisis. However, a crisis manager only knows how to solve crises, which means that when a company comes out of a crisis, it is no longer able to manage it, but can recreate a crisis so that it can solve it again.

How to get out of a personal crisis? "If you're up to your neck in shit, don't bow your head!" - Milan Krajnc

If we are the ones who caused the crisis and still want to lead the company forward (especially if we are the owners of the majority capital in that company), we have to change the patterns of behavior that caused the crisis in the company. This can be done during the restructuring of the company. In this way, the company and the director are “rehabilitated” at the same time.

First, the director must learn to get out of the problem. This means looking at himself and the company as a third party. Because while he is working in a company, the director starts to look at the company as one of his body organs and no longer pays attention to the mistakes that occur.

Short exercise:
Let’s try to imagine that our image is sitting opposite us and consider it as a third person, a person we do not know, and slowly start to describe it. What do we see in her, what do we think about her clothes, her attitude, her facial expression, what do we think about her life goals, what does she expect from the day, how does she feel, how does she react in certain situations… in short, as you have
already noticed, we gradually shift our attention to other areas as we get to know ourselves in other ways. Such a conversation should last at least 30 minutes, several days in a row. After this time we will be very clear, and above all it is advisable to change the daily place. Of course, we will not solve the crisis overnight in this way, but we will gradually begin to recognize the real problems and their causes, i.e. we will gradually be able to begin to eliminate them. However, the process may take too long, so I advise you to seek an external consultant or therapist.

If I do a recap. If you feel that something is going wrong, or if your colleagues, close, business partners are dissatisfied, stop the regular activities, but do not make any drastic changes at this point, but we need to take time to think and get out of the problem. If heaven is successful, seek outside help. Remember that any crisis is solvable, even if it seems impossible at this moment.

Reorganization and crisis management

The causes of crisis situations can be different. If we are the owner or director, we must first find fault with ourselves and not resort to dismissals, stricter controls and violent cost-cutting, because such measures reduce the quality of services and worsen relations. We must first make sure that employees feel better at work and have all the prerequisites for high-quality work. We reduce costs by optimizing the work process, increasing employee motivation, encouraging development and investing in ourselves.

We hesitate to say the word “crisis” because it does not do any good, so we say it in various unbearable situations. So it is an uncomfortable situation over which we have neither the control nor the power to change it. So a crisis is only a state that shows a disorderly course.

We speak of a crisis in a company when the company loses control over the key factors that influence its operations and work processes.

We speak of a real crisis when we admit it. It only depends on what stage it is at. So we can say that the company is already in a crisis when we do not have any business premises or when customers are dissatisfied, maybe when expenses are higher than revenues, or. when we do not even know what is going on and where it’s all going… Above all we have to pay attention to the little things.

It’s good to be aware that most crises are solvable and that none of them is endless in time. More important is that we feel the crisis and find out why it happened. With a detailed analysis of the situation we will find out what we are solving. If we operate with false data, we can trigger an even bigger crisis.

Before we start solving the crisis, we must set ourselves the goal of what we want to achieve with the solution.

How can we recognize a crisis?

There is no scale that shows us that the company is in a crisis. After all, we decide for ourselves when we are in a crisis, to define the term. There are parameters that say that the company is successful, so if the company does not meet this parameter, you could say that it is unsuccessful, or. that it is in a crisis.
The first indicator is certainly the ratio of income to expenditure, and unfortunately this is the only thing that most directors monitor.

Reorganization and crisis management - Milan Krajnc

We often find that individual employees complain about relationships and conditions… and then management says, as long as the outcome is good, it’s best to keep it that way. And that is where the biggest mistake lies. After all, the director only considers the success of the company in terms of financial parameters, but this does not ensure the long-term stability of the company. We must be aware that the company is based on people (human capital) and that they shape the work process. Through their work they contribute to the growth of the company. Just as the success of a company is influenced by their work, it can also be influenced by the failure of the company. A company is a whole, like a human body, which consists of certain organs that can function normally. For the body to feel comfortable, all organs must function well. It is the same in a company, everyone contributes to the success of the company, and everyone must feel comfortable in it. That is why we in the company must pay attention to the “climate” or the well-being of the employees. Here we see the first steps that
can lead to a crisis. We must pay close attention to the comments of the employees. We have to examine the comments carefully, as we humans are naturally inclined to find shortcuts and laziness.

Employees who are directly related to customers can also pass on their dissatisfaction to customers. Customers will not only be dissatisfied with the attitude towards them, but above all with the service and quality of the products. We must also measure customer satisfaction, complaints, the return of old
customers… this information can tell us the most about the actual state of our company. If we find that complaints arise or even increase because of our mistakes, that old customers do not return, we can say that we are on the verge of a crisis situation. In this way, costs start to rise, and at the same time each new customer will bring a bad reputation with other potential customers, so that the demand for our products starts to decrease, which will later be reflected in the difference between income and expenses.

Because it is difficult to measure the climate, because we do not know when employees are telling the truth or what complaints depend on, we must pay attention to the unconscious factors and signs that our employees show. Let us look at a few examples:

I was called by a friend who is the director of a computer company with ten employees. He heard that I wanted to set up new offices, and he wanted to introduce me to a remote control system that would be installed at an early stage of construction. During the presentation, he was repeatedly interrupted by the phone or someone looked into the meeting room. I noticed that he was getting impatient. He began to lose the connection between the sentences. I stopped listening to him as a client and began to observe him as a client.

The signs he was showing were the first signs that the company might be in a crisis, for which the director would transfer responsibility to the employees or other factors. After all, responsibility is the ability to react to decisions made, to defend and justify them. The person who accepts the consequences of his actions is therefore responsible. He is always ready to justify and explain his work
and the situation, and above all he is responsible for his actions. As a rule, we are all ready to take responsibility for success, we all want to sign the community’s recognition, and it is more difficult for us to acknowledge the responsibility for failure. Therefore, the essence of responsibility lies in the impartial assessment of the situation and recognition of responsibility for negative consequences.

Let us return to the example given. The fact that a friend’s phone was on during the presentation meant that he was not picked up completely and that he was afraid of losing (so as not to miss anything). I assumed that he was overwhelmed because he had no organized organization, did not trust his co-workers, and did not create authority (this became apparent when others entered the meeting room).

At work, we pay too little attention to everyday things. We do not observe how the employees behave or feel, we do not even notice ourselves. We mainly focus on global factors in the company, such as sales, stock, purchasing, costs…
If we notice that the quality of the products is poor, that customers are dissatisfied with the services, that profits are falling and costs are rising, we will not talk about indicators of a crisis, but about a state of crisis. However, we need to think much earlier about all the above-mentioned causes of the crisis. We must not even allow them to happen. When we are a director or business owner, we should pay attention to everyday things.

We have to ask ourselves how we feel in the working environment, whether we like the colors of the walls, the arrangement of furniture in the room, whether we are satisfied with the clothes and the relations in the company, whether we like the company of colleagues, whether we like working with customers…
Many of the causes of the crisis can be traced back to such self-evident facts. Let us look at an example:

A design firm with ten employees bought its first premises. Because they ran out of money for the equipment, they bought it at the auction of a company that went bankrupt. They whitewashed the rooms, set the tables in “L” and started working. Everyone was happy to be in their premises. The work they did was always well done and the customers were satisfied. After two years of operation, technologies began to change and the company continued at a steady pace. Although their work was still being carried out successfully, the profits were declining. The company did not invest enough in development, and at the same time there was no stimulating atmosphere, as if time had stopped two years ago. As more people were now needed for the same work, the company decided to hire a business secretary. Her first action was to redecorate the premises – as there was no money for new furniture, she changed the layout, added some flowers and gave the white walls some “spring” shades. Slowly the employees got new ideas for improvements, exchanged opinions, looked for new marketing possibilities… Changes happened even though nobody forced them to.

If the company remained stable, it would experience an organizational and financial crisis within a few years. The reason would be a constant work that does not adapt to the market. However, the colors on the wall have partially changed their view of the work they have been doing for many years.

Another example:

The young entrepreneurs with seven employees have created a successful production company in five years. They used to work eighteen hours a day. As the demand for their products grew, they decided to expand the premises and hire additional staff. They themselves continued at the same pace. Despite more employees and more modern technology, the quality of the products deteriorated. One of the partners was interested in a girl and found out that he had forgotten his appearance, so he started fitness. He gained physical endurance and encouraged his partner to do the same. Over time, they noticed that the quality of the products improved.

The reason for this was that they had been too tired before and did not notice their own mistakes due to their commitment to the environment. With increasing physical performance they became more resilient and relieved. If it had continued at the previous pace, the errors would have increased and with it the costs, as their productivity would have decreased. All they had to do was divert attention
and realize that even the body would be emptied like a machine if we did not maintain it.

Another example:

The director and owner of a successful service company with thirty employees decided to reward the family with an extended holiday because they had not been on leave for so many years because of his work. After three weeks he returned to the company and almost suffered a stroke. There were more complaints than in ten years, the services were not provided within the agreed deadlines… He called a meeting at which he threatened the workers with dismissal and insulted them. Relations within the company have deteriorated, as has the quality of services. The director found that he no longer felt comfortable in the working environment. Since he did not want to dismiss them all at once, he decided to find his deputy or a new director. The new director restored the old situation and even increased the
level of services and profits.

The former director quickly became aware of the mistake of reacting in the wrong way. He blamed himself for the consequences, as he did not teach anyone to do his job. Then he wrongly condemned the staff for the situation they could not forgive him for, destroying trust or good relations. He had two options – either to dismiss everyone and hire new employees, or to leave the management position himself and thus eliminate the cause of the situation, otherwise the situation would eventually lead to the collapse of the company. He took responsibility for his actions.

The causes of crisis situations can be different. If we are owners or managers, we must first find fault with ourselves and not resort to dismissals, stricter controls and violent cost-cutting, because such measures reduce the quality of services and worsen relations. We must first make sure that employees feel better at work and have all the prerequisites for high-quality work. We reduce costs by optimizing the work process, increasing employee motivation, promoting development and investing in ourselves.

The company has to be “in design” at all times. It is advisable to step down as the owner from the position of the managing director and participate as an “external” professional partner without arousing emotions; we must always listen to the comments of employees and other business partners. We try to encourage the creativity of our employees and take responsibility for our own actions.

Another example:

They called me from a construction company with twenty full-time employees where they want to use Microsoft Project at work. After a brief conversation with the director, I prepared a series of presentations in which they were to teach their “project managers” how to use MS Project. After five hours, I found that the audience did not understand what they were learning and had difficulty understanding the basics of the program. They said that they would rather build the house than make a schedule of how to build it. It became clear to me that they do not even know what a project is and that their work is probably not organized, but there is a kind of organized chaos. The seminar on how to use the project management program became an analysis of their projects, how they start, run and finish them. We analyzed one of their past projects, entered all the starting dates and changes that took place during the implementation, and also took into account the financial side. We soon found that the project ended up in the red, although they themselves were convinced of the opposite. The director asked me to analyze three other major projects they are currently working on. The results were disastrous. He found that if the company were to operate in this way, it could be shut down. He found that they were in crisis. The director decided to use Microsoft Project because he was aware that he was not managing the projects and that everyone was late. However, every delay costs something, but he did not know how much. The introduction of a control system in such a situation would lead to an even greater crisis than could have occurred if the work had been carried out as before. At the moment there is a kind of “organized chaos” in which everyone is in, but it is primarily based on the feelings of individuals who have the whole concept of work in their minds. The work continues, but the loss is gradually increasing. However, the company would not notice this until two years later, when some projects would be completed. First the whole company had to be analyzed. First, all the projects that had been carried out were listed and the order of what had already been done and what still had to be done was specified so that the project could be completed. We determined the duration of each activity and the person responsible and evaluated it financially, so that we could get an overview of the current situation. We determined the occupancy of all employees and subcontractors working simultaneously on several projects and received a financial comparison between the planned and already spent funds. The data obtained showed us that most of the employees were overworked, that some work and machinery was planned carelessly and that the projects would end up financially with a huge loss that would ruin the company. From the data obtained, we were able to draw a diagram of the flow of information, i.e. a diagram in which each box represents an activity. We drew them in the order in which they followed each other and connected them to the persons responsible. This gave us an idea of how the communication between the workers was going on. We also identified lack of or incorrect information that was the cause of delays or unnecessary work. At the same time we also carried out a personality analysis and found that some people were in conflict, which caused additional communication difficulties. The director got a comprehensive picture of his company. This was followed by the question of how the crisis could be resolved. In our case, the director did not inform the company’s employees that the company was in a critical situation, but remained calm. He called a meeting to explain the finding that most employees are overworked and that he wants to change the way they work so that employees feel better at work and the burden is reduced when they return home. The employees accepted the new way of working without comment. All projects were completed on time and the savings were used to compensate for the previous loss. We eliminated the crisis in this company before it actually occurred. It was only necessary to calm our nerves, to order all currently important activities correctly and to follow the path we had chosen in the implementation. The reasons for the crisis were mainly vaguely written responsibilities, too much social sensitivity of the managing director towards the employees, miscommunication and bad attitude.

How can the crisis be overcome?

It is not recommended to solve the crisis by the internal team of the company. This is the team that caused the crisis. And because everyone is in the “problem”, they do not see it. So the crisis can be solved by someone from the outside who is not involved in the company. Depending on the size and nature of the company, it is advisable to hire an external expert or an external team. The crisis manager must be an impartial person and must not believe 100% what the customer tells
him about the problems and the reasons for them in the company. But he must see it with his own eyes. This is checked by a detailed analysis. The analysis gives him the causes of the crisis and the answer to what is going on in the company at all.

The crisis must never be solved by reducing material costs and layoffs. We can dismiss the wrong employees. Therefore, we should not take any action without a proper analysis.

It must first determine what the company’s goal and strategy is and measure whether the employees understand it. From this it can already be seen that the problem lies only in the wrong communication and lack of motivation. Then a detailed analysis of the processes and the flow of information is carried out, showing where there are time delays, how the individual people understand each other, where the burdens lie, what the results of the individual functions are. Parallel to this, a personal analysis of the employees is carried out, which shows their potential, their development possibilities as well as their perception of information and flexibility. With a picture of the employees’ personal characteristics and the flow of information, the origin of the crisis can be determined very precisely. An analysis of the information system and business documents is also necessary. The latter analyzes only show us the efficiency of IT and compliance with the law on business documents, so that random changes do not lead to new crises or unannounced crises. Very important is the financial and cost analysis, which must be compared with the analysis of processes, which shows where unnecessary costs or. where more can be saved and what are the costs without which the company could not survive.                                                Only when we have a complete “map” of the company do we see what the real problem of the company is and where the causes of the crisis lie. First of all, it is necessary to remove the causes so that they do not cause new problems when they are solved.

Practice has shown that most crises are caused by ignorance of the company’s goals and strategy, which later results in inappropriate communication, personality complexes come to the fore and the consequences become visible in bad customer relations, a bad climate in the company, irrational use of materials and time. later on, higher costs and complaints and finally, red figures in the balance sheet.

Resolution of the crisis

On the basis of the information obtained, management must decide which strategic decisions to take. The crisis manager must not leave the solution of the crisis to the management itself, but must guide it in its implementation. After all, they are still inside the problem and he is watching from the outside. When solving the crisis, the management must not forget themselves, because they are the ones who have led the processes so far, they are directly responsible for the crisis. And in order for the crisis not to continue, they must also change their habits.

The most difficult thing is to admit one’s own mistakes because we do not observe our actions or because we are convinced that they are the best. The most difficult of the possibilities is to analyze yourself without the help of others. For this we need a strong will and an unforgiveness towards ourselves, similar to the individual reaction when climbing on rocks or in the desert. However, with few
exceptions, people do not know how to be impartial towards themselves, so that such an analysis is rather hopeless. The second way is easier – by talking to an impartial observer (consultant, as in the analysis of processes) we can easily, without feeling agony and doubt, come to insights that reveal a clear view of ourselves, our own thought patterns, achievements, fears, doubts…; in short, by
discovering and skipping obstacles, we learn to walk and run with the consultant on “terrain” that has usually caused us problems.

In the analysis, the consultant is primarily interested in the behavior of the consultant; on the basis of communication, word usage, sentence type, posture, hand movements and other factors, the consultant decides on the occurrence of mistakes that he makes unintentionally and unconsciously. The counselor does not blame the counselor and does not try to blame him, but on the contrary – he
helps him to discover improvements and to become aware of the mechanisms that prevent his success. Behavioral awareness helps the counselor to get closer to the goals and improve life. We can say that the counselor somehow holds up a mirror to you, in which you look at yourself and correct what you do not like about yourself. Instead of destructive behavior, you will build up a constructive attitude based on the consultant’s observations and advice, thus preventing negative
emotions from jeopardizing your ambitions.

How do you prevent a crisis?

We have to start solving the crisis when we work best and have the most money. We always have hidden reserves in the company, especially in time. That is why we have to work on process optimization and the development of new technologies in addition to employee motivation. In this way we become more competitive on the market, we reduce costs and secure permanent employees.
We can only afford this if we have the financial and human resources to do so, and if we are in a crisis, we do not think about development at all, the employees are dissatisfied, and we do not pay attention to tools and materials, but try to produce them as quickly as possible. it will be possible to sell it, and in such a case the crisis is very difficult to solve. So do your best not to let it happen. The company and the employees must be constantly “blown” by the changes.

What should the country do in a crisis

We must not privatize everything, the crucial things must remain in the hands of the state, because they are all that makes basic survival possible – and communication is today a condition for basic survival.

The current “anarchy” in the country and at some banks only exacerbates the situation in the country. Everyone who is just below the top of the state and financial institutions still has enough bread to avoid starvation, and all those who have filled these pantries are slowly running out of supplies.

In other words, it is time for them to come ashore, because they are now floating somewhere in the clouds. Only those who had contact with reality here on earth, those who had their feet firmly on the ground, could realistically follow what was happening around us. Everyone who was at the top wanted more and “flew away”. They lost contact with the ground and could no longer see what was happening around them. Everyone set their own goals, but they no longer had a base here on Earth. Namely, the goals came from their self-state, from ego-states: “this is me, this is me, I am the best…” The game between these ego states started because they are

Ego states completely disrupted the balance, but the nature whose heart was affected quickly began to heal its wounds on its own and restore balance. If nature could no longer take care of itself, it could not take care of those of us who live in it.

The same phenomenon is found in society, more precisely in families, among women, among mothers. Mothers would do anything to give their children everything, everything good. They have two jobs, they tear themselves away from food, they try to give their children the best schools… and if there is violence in the family, they want to protect the children from beatings. And how long can a mother like that hold out? Maybe not even until the child comes of age.

A child needs parents at all times, not a little later, not even tomorrow, but here and now… A child does not need protectors, but it needs educators. It needs to be open to the world. A child learns by example, so the parents must be stable, rested and happy. This means that they have to take care of themselves first, so that they can then take care of the child. And as much as they can give him, it will
be enough for him, because only then will he see where the real limits are to keep us healthy. Otherwise the child will not learn this and think that it can do more, unlimitedly … and then grow up to become a person who crosses boundaries.
And this is where the current financial crisis began.

Mothers have given us more than they were able to.

Yes, now we all take responsibility and no longer apologize that our mothers are to blame, because we are adults and can take our lives into our own hands. When we were children, someone guided us, that was mum, and now that we are physically grown up, we obviously still need someone to guide us, someone to show us the direction, now that we are completely lost. That is the leadership of the country, the people we have gathered, because the best among us are those who know what they are doing and where they are going, and we will follow them.

What should the country do in a crisis? Milan Krajnc

Nothing is happening right now! When the current stops flowing, a puddle forms and the puddle in our country still stinks very badly.
But the first condition to get out of this puddle is to decide where we will go, in which direction. If we do not set our course, we will continue to wander from edge to edge and we will continue to get stuck in puddles. So someone has to show us the right side to go there if we cannot already decide for ourselves.

For centuries, Slovenians have had the only goal: “Let us become independent, we want to have our own country! We succeeded in doing this at the beginning of the 1990s, but then our goal has remained the same. We went to Europe and opened the door, but our general goal is still the same: we want our country. So, on the one hand, we opened the door to the outside, and on the inside we closed more and more, first the regions, then the municipalities, there were more and more of them … and then the gardens with big fences. So what do you want? Are we open to the world or do we want to close it completely?

We do one thing and think another. We have to agree on that first. Do we go in or out? I think this is also the biggest problem of many men in Slovenia – they do not know if they would go in, and if they are already in, they want to go out immediately… That is why women are not happy with Slovenian men on average, because the men do not know what they want, but still do not finish what they
started.

So you have to decide whether you want to go out or not. If we go out, foreign policy must be guided by this, and the “reception” of foreign guests at the legal-administrative level should be hospitable. Otherwise we will close all the doors, and in the end we will be all alone… our neighbors will be in our way, everyone will have their own house on a big ranch where we will live all alone.

Once we have decided whether we want to go in or out, our next step will be to answer the question of what we want to make of the Slovenian state – be it a tourist, industrial, high-tech,… country.

What should the country do in a crisis? Milan Krajnc

Why is this important? Because we cannot sell land for production facilities in the area that we have designated as a tourist area in the development plan. We could earn more that way, but we must not allow ourselves too many paradoxes.

This is particularly important now that the country is in crisis with its financial injections. So where should we invest money? In the production of companies that have no future, or in tourist facilities that need to be completely renovated? If our aim is production, then of course we should invest money in production!

I would like to say that only if we have a clear direction will the financial injection sting exactly where the pain is, and the pain will also disappear very quickly. However, if we guess and sting in different areas, we will still have a lot of pain before we reach the target, unless, of course, the vaccine runs out sooner.
Under no circumstances should we sell telecommunications, logistics, energy and financial companies. Let us think about what can happen if we completely privatize telecommunications or energy companies and then that company collapses and the state no longer has any influence to save it. How will we communicate? Like the Indians!

Maybe a bit drastically, but imagine that tomorrow there will be no more telecoms, and therefore no more Mobitel and SiOL, where will we be then? You can say: “Yes, because we have Si.mobil, Tušmobil, Telemach (companies for telephony, mobile and internet)… that we really have them, only in which networks? Telecommunications !!!!!! (slightly generalized, but highly dependent).

However, all this is quite possible. We must not privatize everything, the decisive things must remain in the hands of the state, because they are all that makes basic survival possible – and communication is now a prerequisite for basic survival.

What should the country do in a crisis? Milan Krajnc

What would I do? I would concentrate on boutique tourism, whose sub-target could also be production. Let me give you an example: Slovenia has a long tradition of craftsmanship, which means we have knowledge that the world lacks. We could therefore concentrate exclusively on development, as we do not have the production capacity to supply the world.

Since we are of Slavic origin, we could cooperate with Slavic countries that have sufficient capacity. Since Slavic blood runs through our veins, communication can also be much easier and faster. In Slovenia we would take care of development,
marketing, sales and coordination. The production part and the logistics would be done in one of the Slavic countries, whose goal would be production. In Slovenia we could have only boutique production. We know how to do the best things ourselves.

That is why there is a lot of space left for tourism. But not for megalaxies, mega-hotels, but for boutique things, for tourist farms, settlements… …for everything we have had for centuries, they just need to be restored.

Slovenia could be a boutique that specializes in quality things. So people would do more things with their hearts, they would do what we know best and what we enjoy doing. In this way we could also achieve a high profit, because high-quality things in small quantities always fetch a high price.

If we would do things with the heart (which makes us happy), money would only be a logical consequence of our work. All the Slovenian state (the administration) should do is to ensure comprehensive marketing and simplify administrative procedures. The previous government has already started to implement many of these measures, but it would take another term of office to complete them, but unfortunately it did not succeed. Apparently there was already a reason for this that was big enough. Perhaps it was because it did not lay a sufficiently stable
foundation, that it did not have a specific objective; for example: why did it reduce wages, to what end did it change the systematization of the public sector?

Once we have achieved the objective that has been set, we must adapt the Constitution and then the legislation, which will lead to a rationalization of legal and administrative procedures. The Slovenian state is now too expensive because things are duplicated. I am not saying that the state apparatus must be downsized, that people must be made redundant, but above all we must say who does what and why, and what the result of this work should be.

Only when we know this will we know, even in crisis situations, where we have to be careful not to collapse the whole state apparatus and to channel money into development or the economic sector rather than into our own apparatus, because that can have the same effect as a sinking boat when water flows in faster than we can pour it in.
Yes, we really need a target first! But we need to clean ourselves thoroughly before we even get to the bottom of it.

In any case, a woman should take over the leadership of the country for a while. We do not want to separate men and women in this way, but the men have to come to terms with the fact that women can organize better and that Slovenia needs a female “housewife” during this time to clean and fill the pantries.

To achieve the goals we have set, we need a responsible and stable leader.

Reorganization, optimisation, rationalization

Reorganization is not a state of work in a company. Work organization is set up in the enterprise.

If the strategy changes, the organization must also change, and this process is called reorganization. It is very difficult to change the structure and at the same time simplify the process. We change the structure so that the process is easier and we can save money. So you could call the reorganization a global optimization or the optimization is a correction of the reorganization.

Rationalization means “making business cheaper”, which is not only achieved by layoffs, but mainly by rationalizing materials, working hours, driving and more. We opt for rationalization above all when the financial crisis occurs.

What does it actually mean when we reorganize, optimize or rationalize a company or a process?

The terms reorganization, rationalization and optimization are becoming increasingly common in the public eye. We are most “startled” when we hear the word rationalization, because we think of dismissing employees. Do we really know what these terms mean? Do we use them in the truest sense of the word?

Reorganization

The word reorganization comes from the English word reorganize (or even earlier Latin reorganizare), which means to reorganize. Reorganize means to rearrange, to make changes. We also encounter the terms restructuring, reengineering, reforms and others. We carry out a reorganization when we are not satisfied with the current organizational structure, with the flow of data or when the work is not evenly distributed. In practice, this means that we change the decision-making hierarchy in the company, change responsibilities or competencies or abolish departments and create a project structure and so on. In short, reorganization is a change in the way decisions are made, systemic changes, and above all, we bring new approaches to the work environment.

Reorganization, optimization, rationalization - Milan Krajnc

Reorganization is a logical consequence of a change in the vision, goal or strategy of the company. This usually happens when there is a change in management, ownership or market orientation. Work organization is changing and must constantly adapt to the current situation, so it is necessary to check
whether it is really the most appropriate one at the moment. Reorganization should therefore take place at any time and should not be subject to any restrictions.

One could also say that reorganization is very much in line with strategy: as the strategy changes, so must the reorganization. Reorganization is not a state of work in an enterprise. Work organization is set up in the enterprise. If the strategy changes, the organization must also change, and this process is called reorganization.

The biggest obstacle to reorganization are people, because we are used to working in a stable way, and reorganization prevents us from doing so because we have to approach tasks differently. So first we have to reorganize. Reorganization helps us not to fall into fixed patterns, but encourages us to constantly deal with ourselves. Therefore it is important that the whole team participates in the reorganization, as this is the fastest way to complete it. It is also important that we consider the suggestions of all employees, because they know the issue best themselves and if we consider their suggestions, they will be more motivated for change. The timing of introducing business changes therefore depends mainly on how quickly the team will adopt the new rules. The reorganization is successfully completed when everyone in the company starts working according to the new rules.

Practice has shown that a reorganization proceeds fastest when it is led by a person who is not directly involved in the company process during implementation, or when we engage an external institution. The reorganization must always be carried out at several levels (depending on the size of the company – the larger the company, the more levels there are), from global to personal. We have to constantly adapt the operation of the whole company, we have to monitor and adapt the profession, the reactions of the market and marketing approaches and last but not least we have to monitor and adapt ourselves. We must constantly educate ourselves, work on our physical and mental condition and build up our personality.

A practical example of reorganization

The production company with 25 employees was a permanent supplier of springs for a large foreign automotive group. Since the entire production was completely tied to only one customer, the company did not need any marketing. Contacts with the customer were maintained by the owner (who was also the director), the technologist ensured the smooth running of the production, and the accountant or administrator took care of the necessary documentation that had to monitor the
products and processes. During a visit abroad, the owner of the company found out that there would be a decrease in orders and additional requirements to increase quality. He was aware that his business was very risky as he only had one customer.

He searched thoroughly for new potential markets where he could offer his services. He hired a person to take over the sale of existing products to new potential buyers. Most often the companies demanded the ISO standard or a larger quantity than they could produce. So he hired a person who introduced a quality system and information support, he hired an external personnel agency for
additional production personnel (he did not increase the premises and machinery, but changed from one to three shifts). When the administrative workload increased, he hired two additional administrators and an accountant. Demand increased, so that the marketing employee was behind schedule with the offer. As a result, the company hired three more marketing staff. Due to the threeshift
work, two more new technologies, etc. were needed. In order for the company to survive, it therefore had to hire more employees and focus on other markets. Sales increased by up to 300 percent, the number of employees by 400 percent, costs by 350 percent, and profits were lower than before. Lacking precise control over expansion and responsibilities, the company needed to create a new organizational structure. Since the staff was hired for a specific purpose, the reorganization went very quickly, as everyone was aware of their responsibilities. He decided to reorganize only to improve the flow of data within the company. He decided on departments.

During a reorganization, it is not always necessary to save money, but the results can be very different. Before we start a reorganization, we must set a goal and ask ourselves what we want to achieve. In the case described, the primary purpose of the reorganization was to maintain the company. The goal of
the reorganization can therefore be different, from increasing the quality of the product, the image of the company to the division of responsibilities. So, first we have to perceive the problem and the need for change, only then we start the reorganization. It is best to tackle it on “paper” first. As long as we have not anticipated all possible “scenarios” of reorganization, we should not put them into practice.

Optimization

Optimization comes from the English word optimal (formerly Latin optimus) and means to do what is best under the given circumstances (optimal). You could say that it is a combination of rationalization and reorganization, because with optimization we remove various administrative and technological barriers, we simplify processes. Some changes have to happen first. It is very difficult to change the structure and simplify the process at the same time. We change the structure so that the process is easier and we save money. So you could call the reorganization a global optimization or the optimization is a correction of the reorganization. Only when a general change in the way we work has taken place and this has been “tested” for some time can we start to optimize the processes that we had previously only predicted theoretically, and only the implementation of the reorganization shows us which changes have really brought about an optimization.

By monitoring individual processes or details, we can start to optimize, i.e. simplify some procedures, assign responsibilities according to the skills of the individual, set up machines correctly, select contractors or suppliers, and so on. We can say that optimization means “sawing reorganization“.

Reorganization, optimization, rationalization - Milan Krajnc

A practical example of optimization

In the previous case, we saw how the company developed, but despite the higher turnover, profits declined. Therefore, the owner decided to investigate the current process more closely. He found that a number of features were duplicated and that he could save a lot of money with some simplifications. He decided to move from departments to project teams. The project structure is much more flexible, it
is on the design all the time, while the departments become rigid over time. So they have further improved the information system in production and marketing. In marketing, they introduced a customer management system that automated some processes, reduced administrative work and lowered the cost of materials. As there was less work in administration, one person switched to marketing, which further increased traffic for a particular batch (Figure 4). As a result, by improving the machines and simplifying the production processes, some tasks were simplified.

Although the main purpose of the reorganization and optimisation is to reduce costs, its introduction causes some costs for the company. However, we must be aware that we have been doing this for a long time. We have to define exactly how long we want to reduce the costs and burdens on individuals. Optimisation must be measurable in terms of time and money, which means that we must
know exactly where, how much and why we are saving. The greatest optimisation tool is development. With development, we primarily improve quality and simplify processes. However, since development is very expensive and cannot be done overnight, we can only afford it if we have a very well developed long-term plan.

Rationalization

Rationalization means “making business cheaper“, which is achieved not only by layoffs, but above all by rationalizing materials, working hours, driving and more. We opt for rationalization especially when the financial crisis occurs. We see that optimization and rationalization are very complementary. Rationalization has only one goal – financial savings. We can save with time optimization, choice of materials and more.

Rationalization is the result of optimization.

We make the biggest mistake in rationalization when we rationalize by laying off employees and choosing cheap materials, because rationalization should not reduce costs by laying off employees, but by redirecting employees to other profitable activities. In such a case we can say that optimisation and rationalization are one and the same thing.

If we opt for any form of change, we must have a clearly defined objective.

What do we want to achieve? If we set ourselves the goal of reducing costs, then we will reduce them until they no longer exist – and the company will fail as a result.

Cost reduction is only a logical consequence of the realization that we want to achieve something. If we do something, the result depends directly on others – if nothing else, then we need electricity, transport, telephone. So we see that costs cannot be completely eliminated.

The lowest costs are usually for service companies and the highest for construction and production companies. So we cannot completely eliminate the costs because we cannot create if we have nothing. The greatest effort is our time, which we forget. That is why we must first and foremost think about
how we can reduce our presence in the company through reorganization, optimization and rationalization.

So we see that all activities are connected and that one cannot exist without the other. Everything brings change, and change brings progress.

PRACTICAL NOTE

If we want to constantly monitor the results of the reorganization, it is very important to adapt the business information system.

When a highly educated cadre loses its self confidence

Our well-being depends mainly on the environment. When others praise us, we will feel good, which means that we are constantly dealing with others. Let us almost forget ourselves! In the time when we were building up external self-confidence, we forgot the world around us, sometimes we lost the rhythm. We no longer felt joy, we no longer felt sadness, we no longer heard what our neighbors said, we only felt pain when we were not praised, confirmed.

Only the self-confidence that grew out of us is our inner strength. We have to be aware that we are the only ones and only ones, that no one is like us, that we are truly unique. We must praise ourselves, we must thank ourselves. We should not look for external confirmations because we become dependent on them. We have to be enough for ourselves.

Let us look inside ourselves at who we are; everything we have achieved so far is because we are who we are. Let us accept ourselves with all the good and bad things, let us accept ourselves!

– Milan Krajnc –

Blog - Milan Krajnc

In a time of rapid economic growth, more and more people are turning to us (in the company), primarily looking for answers to what needs to be done during this period. When we carried out an analysis of the personal profiles of these people, we discovered that they belong to the social elite. They are highly educated, belong to the richest and best positioned people in society.

After talking to them, we find that they are tired, angry with themselves, and most importantly, that they no longer know who they are and what they want, the world is falling apart… their self-confidence is gone.

We know two types of self-confidence: that which we create with the help of external factors and that which we build from within.

That which we create with the help of external factors depends on the level of education, on the material goods, on the status in society… it is tied exclusively to the outside world… This means that our well-being depends primarily on the environment. When others praise us, we will feel good, which means that we are constantly dealing with others. Let us almost forget ourselves!

At a certain point we forget ourselves completely because we are only concerned about what otherswill think. I will wear what will be beautiful in the eyes of others, I will go to a place where everyone will notice me, I will drive such a car that others will envy me… and then I will not see the enthusiasm on their faces, if I will not congratulate them, if they are better dressed than me, if they drive a better car
bomb, I will feel bad. If we tie our well-being exclusively to other factors that are not tied to ourselves, we get caught up in games that are staged by others, and we are the actors on their stage. We become completely powerless, dependent on others. After a while, we get tired… our self-confidence needs more and more confirmation, we have to be in the spotlight more and more… and now that the crisis has come, when we are running out of resources to be the best, our self-confidence is also in crisis.

In such a state we are looking for all possible ways to return to the state we were at our peak a few months ago. And so we discover that there is another self-confidence, one that is completely independent of external influences. And then we discover a whole new world, we begin to discover ourselves.

When a highly educated cadre loses self-confidence - Milan Krajnc

Most of these conversations end with the words: “But if nobody needs my services anymore, I will clean! If nobody needs your services any more, then nobody needs to clean. If you are at the top of a scale today, it means that you are an example and a role model for the masses. It means that you have a great responsibility to the public. Now you have the ideal opportunity to simply solidify your exterior with your interior.

We will see very quickly that we have no bad qualities, only some we did not like because others were uninteresting. We will see that we belong to the most wonderful ones. There is nothing in the whole universe more beautiful than myself. When we start to admire ourselves, no external “catastrophe” will
affect our well-being; we will always be wonderful.

At a time when we decide to meet ourselves, it is most difficult to take the first step. We do not know what to expect, we go into the unknown, even if we go inside. Have any of us ever happily gone to cleanse something that has not been cleaned for years? So a lot of dust has accumulated in us over the years!

The time ahead of us is actually a year of “cleaning”. Nature will purify itself with everything that disturbs its rhythm, society will purify itself with everything that disturbs its rhythm, we will purify the people in us with everything that does not fit our rhythm.

When a highly educated cadre loses self-confidence - Milan Krajnc

In the time when we were building up outer self-confidence, we forgot the world around us, sometimes we lost the rhythm. We no longer felt joy, we no longer felt sadness, we no longer heard what our neighbors were saying, we only felt pain when we were not praised, not confirmed. In fact, we could say that we have forgotten how to live.

We now have the opportunity to live again.

No, you do not have to learn to live, you just have to let go of the rhythm.

The coming months will show us that education is important not because of status, but because of the knowledge that strengthens our inner strength, our self-confidence. However, time will require a transformation of educational institutions, more knowledge about skills than about crafts. This status in society is important because of social responsibility and not because of beauty and wealth. This
material wealth is important… it is not important, it is important that I enjoy life, material goods will only be a logical consequence that we will have as much as we need to enjoy ourselves on the way to the goal.

And if you have a degree today, a doctorate, a good car, the whole world knows you, you don?t have to be ashamed. Be proud, it is not about yesterday, it is about today, about this moment, about the here and now. Be proud of yourself, be an example for others. Only with a positive example will you change the world.

Pay attention to what is happening around you, it does not matter if you feel great just because you eat in an elite restaurant. Maybe it is better or even the same if you eat salami in nature… I can quote the most recent example organized by Washington Post:

»The man sat down at the subway station and started playing the violin. It was a cold January morning in Washington. He was playing Bach’s Sixth Symphony, about 45 minutes. It was a crowded time, so about a thousand people passed by during that time, most of them on their way to work. After three minutes a middle-aged man walked by and noticed him. He slowed his pace, paused for a few seconds and then continued on his way. A minute later the musician received a dollar in his hat: a woman threw it at him and walked on without stopping. A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall and listened to him, but soon looked at his watch and went on. He was obviously late for work. A 3-yearold
child was even more interested in him. His mother dragged him, but he managed to stop and see the violinist. Then the mother managed to distract him and the child kept looking at the violinist. Something similar happened later to a few more children, but without exception all the parents pulled them forward.

Within 45 minutes only six people stopped and listened to him for a while. About 20 people gave him some money and then continued on their way. He raised 32 dollars. When he finished and the music stopped, nobody noticed and nobody applauded.

Nobody knew that this violinist was Joshua Bell – one of the best musicians in the world. He played one of the most beautiful songs ever written on a $3.5 million violin. Two days earlier he had played in a sold out hall in Boston – and the average price for a seat was 100 dollars.

This is a true story. Joshua Bell played incognito in the subway station – and the event was organized by Washington Post as part of a test of ordinary people’s perception, taste and priorities.«

Do we accept beauty? Do we pause to admire it? Do we recognize talent in unusual circumstances? One possible conclusion: If we do not have time to pause and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing one of the most beautiful melodies ever written, do we think about how many other beautiful things in life we are and will miss? Unless we change our lifestyle. It is not only beautiful what is beautifully packaged!

Intangible assets will now begin to come to the fore. We will begin to respect people who are expanding, loving, happy… But we must be careful not to go to the other extreme. If we were to drive a BMW now, we would have a motorcycle tomorrow, if we had a Dr. in front of our name that we would hide tomorrow … NOOOOOOOOOO, there should be no difference, there is nothing wrong with BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari… the cars were made in a fair way and from the heart, but the time and the way of life we have been involved in has made these brands something more, a status symbol. These brands are carried by cars that are safer and more comfortable than others, so we will continue
to drive them.

When we meet people who want to make changes from one day to the next, often after the first steps they want to take in new roles in life, suddenly material wealth is worth nothing, all their longtime friends are selfish and complacent! STOP !!!!!! You cannot go from one extreme to the other, others are as they are, we are important. It cannot be what we have built up for years, nothing valuable, now it will only get a different meaning. We will look at it with different eyes, it may not really matter to us anymore, but not only from one day to the next, every change takes time.

When a highly educated cadre loses self-confidence - Milan Krajnc

The coming period will take its time. If we change our habits today, it does not mean that we can prevent a crisis.

Every crisis brings changes, for some for the good, for others for the bad. (If you look at it from the good side, you can say that the changes will be good).

It is important to take time for life, the other is not important! Now we were too busy with others, if others did not accept us, we put on such a mask that they liked us. And then they danced to their music. We became the best players, we could win two Oscars every day.

Today is a new day! The desert is over! Let’s take off the masks! It’s over with the games! Now is the time to live.

We must stop playing if we want to get out of this crisis.

Someone once said that truth will set you free.

When you are left without everything overnight - Milan Krajnc

When you are left with nothing overnight!

An entrepreneur creates some small fortune in a few decades. He usually has a house, a car, maybe some other property that he rents out or enjoys on the weekends. He himself is 100% owner of the company he created and also financed all his property, and this company gives bread to at least 10 families. In all these years, he paid all liabilities to Banks and Durs and business partners on a regular basis, and often helped someone when he was in crisis, so that I don’t even “talk” about the business opportunities he gave to friends… this is the story of most Slovenian entrepreneurs, to this day!

Today, however, the Crisis has occurred, the volume of work has decreased, there are no more financial reserves, the entrepreneur has put all personal money in the company, maybe even mortgaged his property… buyers started to be late with payment, banks no longer gave new loans extend more.

Suddenly we find ourselves in a situation… we never knew. Warnings before execution begin to come, threats of threats, accusations, turning away on the road, receiving threatening letters pa but we observe helplessly because we cannot believe that someone can be like that if we have stood by his side for so many years and supported him … Today, when there is no money, he shows his true face, the past no longer interests him, he only becomes a scavenger who wants to remove everything that is left alive on us.

After two or three months, when we are just beginning to realize what happened, in some cases it is almost too late. We get the first foreclosures that block our personal and business account, which means we only have as much money as we have in

When you are left without everything overnight - Milan Krajnc

our wallet. Suddenly, foreclosures knock on our door to take material things if we can’t pay in cash and another month passes when the bank terminates the loan agreement and wants to sell all the property owned by the entrepreneur or company.

The story you are reading is happening to countless entrepreneurs today and now we come to the turning point, whether we will land on the road with a liter of wine or we will rise above all pressures and stand up for ourselves.

Here we must be aware that it is no longer the indulgence or tolerance that has brought us into such a situation, but it is solely a struggle for self-survival. That is why it is important that we protect ourselves first.

What we can do overnight:

  1. Change of permanent address: We move our permanent address where we basically don’t live and they can’t take anything worthwhile out of that property… think of classmates and colleagues from the past.
  2. Personal account abroad: We open a personal account in a neighboring country and report it to the Tax Administration of the Republic of Slovenia so that we do not fall into a new offense, but your funds are safe.
  3. Letter of Possession: Arrange for a Letter of Possession for all your property
  4. Lifelong easement: We give lifelong easement to a relative or friend on all our property.
  5. New company: We open a new d.o.o., at home and abroad, so that we can start operating at all
  6. Business account at a blocked company abroad: We do not open a business account abroad at a blocked company, where we have all the contracts, not all banks, because they check the situation in Slovenia, and at the same time we have to report it to DURS.
  7. Factoring / Compensation: Sell all receivables or. make all sorts of compensations, take things you don’t even dream you might need.
  8. Notice: Write a letter to all business partners informing them of your status and that you will cover your obligations within six months.

These are the first eight steps to create the conditions for survival and further work. Everything can be arranged in one week. This struggle at the same time frees us from all the shackles of fear, in a very short time we become confident on a realistic basis.

When you are left without everything overnight - Milan Krajnc

All I have mentioned are temporary solutions. Now we have to prepare a new business plan or. to ask ourselves first who are we? For the period that is behind us, we have mainly blamed others for all the mistakes, but in reality, we have come here with our way of life. That’s why it’s important to change the way we live, to change it, but we can only change it by asking ourselves who we really are and what we want.

You could say that we get some new opportunity to live, for that real life that we never dared to live because of different social norms.

Above all, I advise you not to take advantage of the situation to bankrupt the company and get rid of debts, but to repay what you really owe with new business, and write off everything else with agreements or in any way. If I use the term from “The sicret” the Universe always issues an invoice at the end or Physicists would say that Pressure in nature always equalizes.

At the end of this journey, you can only be even stronger for life, liberated and above all pure.

Seller of Dreams

Europe has not found itself in crisis because of poor investment in recent years, but because of a vague goal, as it has been sleeping on the laurels of its history for centuries.

If we look at history, we see that Europe has been a driver of world development over the last millennium. Europeans (whites) conquered and ruled the whole world, and at that time the conquest of the world was also the only goal. Later, this role was taken over by America, which also developed from Europe. And that is when Europe stood still. She has lost her meaning, or we could say that she has been lost, as a middle-aged man who has conquered everything in life and no longer knows how and where to go is lost (if I may allow myself a comparison). That is why Europe needs to find a new meaning, a new goal, why even exist?

We can also ask ourselves differently: if Europe is a “company”, what is its product? The answer that comes to my mind at first is: quality of living! Of course, this is also the goal of the European Union, but the needs of its people have changed. Therefore, when it comes to what we expect from Europe, we need to get back to ourselves.

We saw that the needs we met and lived with for the last few years were primarily the needs of others. We lived to show ourselves to others, and in doing so we were so successful that we completely looted our rich interior. We became empty. If we start from the thoughts of Martin Kojc, who wrote 100 years ago that the material world is a reflection of our thoughts, then we can also feel it. Today we are in abundance, but we are both alone and empty.

Therefore, our new direction must be the path back to ourselves. We need to refill our pantries: hearts, minds and souls.

Mature men would now say that there has been enough philosophizing and that there needs to be a firm grip on the work! Everyone would jump in panic, roll up their sleeves and grab… for what? Or – how should we start?

Every journey begins with a dream. But in recent decades, we humans have mostly forgotten to dream. We literally had paradise on earth, we collected money on the road, so we didn’t have to work for anything anymore, everything was “at hand”. People simply got lazy and the vast majority became “philosophers” who started to turn the thoughts and ideas of others nicely, because I didn’t even allow them to “pick up money” on the road.

Now that we’ve found ourselves at the perfect bottom, we need to start climbing, but the road to the top will take more than a decade, all the way to 2030. We need to start by starting to dream. Namely, our dreams come from our essence, we were born with the essence, but we forgot it with the way of life. But by dreaming, we can relive this essence.

We can dream somewhere where we feel safe, where we are relaxed and have our peace. Therefore, the first step towards overcoming the crisis is for Europe to create dream corners. These could be large fields, parks, where we would lie carefree in the grass and dream… if we could not remember what we dreamed of, or the path to our essence is simply too long, Dream Sellers could help us with this. These would be middle-aged people who have achieved everything in life and found their meaning in sharing their experiences with others.

Well, it took me a little bit into the fairytale world here, because in these hard times, everyone wants their own fairytale…

However, a different path from the one described is in fact almost impossible if the world is not to collapse on itself. Here I see the role of Europe, which can help us get out of the vicious circle. However, not by sending her warriors around the world to “liberate” or “convert people”, but by renewing herself.

Dream seller - Milan Krajnc

Europe will simply cease to be interested in the rest of the world. She will start working on how she has to organize herself to make it easier for her citizens, she will ask each one what she wants…

Europe will change the world by setting a new example. Europe still has this power, as millions of tourists from all over the world flock to us because of its rich history, culture and good food. And Europe can use its status of authority to give a new message to the world: “Begin to be aware of yourself!”

The world will have to calm down, and with the changes, Europe will act much more calmly in 2030, but not seemingly. People will see in their eyes that their soul is completely calm. They will no longer be interested in mass entertainment and mass events, but will focus on friends, family, themselves. Books and movie theaters will gain importance again, playing in front of the block will once again become commonplace. Our relationships will become intimate, not only in a physical sense, but in developing the relationship. Relationships will be deep, respect will develop again.

The crisis that has developed in recent years has basically started to reveal real faces, the scenery has started to fall and the “real world” has started to show. This one looked rough and dark at first. Anxiety is still present today, but the sun is already shining. By acknowledging the truth, even if it was exhausting, deep down we see that we have begun to liberate ourselves.

The new sun will shine on our essence, on our true face, on our dreams. And in order to be able to live our dreams, we need to start dreaming again.

So it’s time to become Dream Sellers. For those who don’t have them.

Only She… or life for two - Milan Krajnc

Only her… Or a life for two

Lately, I’ve mostly been writing only business stuff and moving away from relationships between partners, but at the same time I’ve seen that it’s about a relationship in the business world and a personal one about the same things.

If you are not completely honest, things will "collapse" sooner than later.

– Milan Krajnc –

Premium osebno svetovanje - Milan Krajnc

However, being honest does not mean that we are organizing information, but that we are saying even the darkest things, especially now that the crisis is happening at every step. However, those darkest and most hidden parts of man are supposed to remain hidden forever…. Well at least that’s what they said, although now I see the Sun with its light forcing itself into every part of the dark rooms of the individual. So I find that we have nothing more to hide, because sooner or later the light will come to the room where we put all our junk, just so that no one would deal with it.

It is the same in business, we will no longer be able to hide anything, we will only be able to offer quality services and products, and an honest and quality relationship between employees, everything else will crash, to the lowest point.

And why did I even decide to write about private relationships again.

After a long time, I returned to Belgrade, where your eyes cannot be in one place, especially if you are sitting in the company of a man in a bar by the promenade.

Namely, the women of Boegraj, in the winter months, put on the most beautiful things and, as the Serbs would say, adorn themselves with all their gold, but in the summer they give it all away… and here the view of their gold obsta bare skin remains. And there’s so much of it that you can’t look left to right, you can’t even focus and after an hour of sitting… you have cold coffee or hot beer and you don’t even know what you watched or saw anymore because you wanted to see it all at once.

Well, of course it’s not just about watching… and later you find out that all Belgraders are the same, so no matter which one you watch the result is the same, you are always disappointed if you expect only beauty, because this beauty is only on the street… you don’t get it at home a lot, unless you invest a lot in it… so invest in beauty salons, gyms, dresses and you will always have beauty… other content than fashion you will not have…

Only She… or life for two - Milan Krajnc

I’m not talking about Belgraders as Belgraders, but from Lisbon to Athens enako just I have now inserted myself in this Balkan capital, which is a symbol of “Kiten”. I wanted to emphasize that women have forgotten their interior, their content and that men today are no longer looking for not only external beauty but also the content of the conversation about those dark rooms, about what we put away somewhere to no one would find it. Well, these are just my thoughts and when I turn to a colleague who got together for morning coffee and for the last two hours we didn’t say a word because we were directed completely elsewhere and we were just staring at our long legs and lush from under our sunglasses… I realize that I may fall back into the old pattern that has accompanied me for the past five years. I shudder and order one of these short ones to clear my mind a bit… I tell them we’re going for an afternoon walk to Avala, but they haven’t heard me, they stayed in their movie and continued to drink coffee. I left without being seen, changed clothes and went over Belgrade, to Avala….

I had only the tower in front of me, which I looked at, and my thoughts slowly began to calm down. I saw just one more point and started thinking about all the nudity I encountered on Kenz Mihajlo a few hours ago. What do we men get from watching a hundred women at once… basically nothing, we just fill some childish imagination… so men principle on watching other women, I might say.

Well and more, as I look at the tower in front of me and become more and more breathless, it starts to become clear to me where the underlying problem is.

If you deal with 100 women at once, you don’t have to make a special effort, show your best part and turn out to be a guy and just by the way, you deal with them superficially… but the essence is never added, but you create an unrealistic image of these women whose thoughts are loaded into hidden dark rooms.

However, if a man focuses on only one person, one woman, it starts to get tiring, just like my walking up this hill, which goes towards a single goal. My thoughts had already completely calmed down and my thoughts were also getting a result.

Only She… or life for two - Milan Krajnc

There is basically no difference between 100 women, or between one, the thread is no difference between Africa, America, or Antarctica… we can explore as much as we want, but the world is the same everywhere. Therefore, it is enough to explore only one world and dedicate ourselves to it, and that thoroughly, because that way we will get the whole paradise and the whole world in one place.

Therefore, dear readers of business or personal articles, be focused on only one business goal, men and women, and only on one partner… if you think it is not going to work, ask yourself if you are on the right track and if you want to.

In any case, it is necessary to make a breakthrough and go to the end, because only in this way will you finally feel your life and really live it.

Distribution of entrepreneurial risk - Milan Krajnc

Entrepreneurial risk sharing; too many activities in one legal entity, can confuse a business

If the organization and the success of a company do not grow evenly, the company will start an organizational crisis first and then a financial crisis.

In such a company, a thorough analysis must first be carried out. With their help we get to the bottom of the cause of the crisis. Then the general goal of the company is determined. When the analysis has shown that several activities are equivalent and that it is a pity to abandon them, it is advisable to use more legal entities. The most common phenomenon is the transformation into a holding company.

Starting a company is always the most difficult, although we have a very precise goal of what we would do, the management and the struggle for survival force us to “reach for every job”. Since we do not reach the goal overnight, the direction of the company is slowly “diluted”. Thus, after a few years of operation, the company no longer has a main activity, the public is known for something other than what

Distribution of entrepreneurial risk - Milan Krajnc

is written as a goal, the employees do not know what their task is. If the director recognizes this in time, the company must be reorganized, if not, it may go under.

After the analysis, when defining the general goal of the company, it can be completely new or returned to its original state. Which in practice happens very rarely.

The entrepreneurs who founded the company have already grown personally during this period and have different expectations of life. Further reorganization also depends on the goal and the results of the analysis. The main goal is to determine the main activity.

The analysis can show that there are several equivalent activities in the company, that the employees have potential that the company has not yet used, or that the company has developed a high profile in a certain “circle”. Of course, the analysis can also show poor results, and in the end it is best if the company’s story ends with this one and continues with another.

Distribution of entrepreneurial risk - Milan Krajnc

The goal we set ourselves is first and foremost the personal goal of the entrepreneur, what he wants to achieve with the company. An entrepreneur may want to keep the company for his descendants, want to close the business, do business for pleasure only, in short, the goal must come from the owner, who must not be a “prisoner” of the company.

If the analysis has shown that several activities are equivalent and that it is a pity to give them up, it is advisable to make more legal entities. The most common phenomenon is the transformation into a holding company. This means that the existing company takes over the task of managing the assets and capital of the newly established companies. At the same time it takes care of the brand. Newly established companies adopt the name of the parent company and an appendix illustrating their activities.

Thus, some companies concentrate exclusively on production or services, while other companies offer them support in the areas of administration, marketing and purchasing. At the same time they offer their services on the market. In this way, the entrepreneur diversified his capital and reduced the risks. At the same time, he has increased confidence in the company’s employees, which contributes to the creation of value in the respective company.

In such a case, the entrepreneur-owner has to withdraw from the operative business of the company and take over only one function. It is recommended that he takes a leading role and deals primarily with asset management, but of course only if he has received additional training in this direction, otherwise he should appoint an independent director or hand over the management with full powers to his successor. If, however, he is an expert in a particular field and it is a pity to lose this knowledge, he will devote himself solely to this work and the management should be entrusted entirely to the director. In any case, he must be trained in capital management, because as owner he will continue to have a stake in the company.

The advantages of splitting the activities into several companies are mainly in terms of operational hygiene, a better overview of the operational processes, greater independence and responsibility of the employees, diversification of capital, lower risk and increased quality of the profession.
The disadvantages of splitting the activities are higher administrative costs, creation of competition, less control over the directors (depending on the organization).
