Project management without management can cause chaos

The project should be managed by an expert from the field he/she is in charge of and should be accompanied by a coordinator who carries out the administrative part of the project. Such a coordinator can be a coordinator for all project leaders, i.e. they deal with the profession and he with the administration. After all, it is the administration that causes most problems for the project experts. This person or group of coordinators is called the project office. The role of the project office is not only administration, but also coordination of the project team.

Every other word we hear in meetings and in public is “project”. In the past we used to say that to work in an orderly fashion it is necessary to work on a project, but now that we are working on a project, the problem arises of how to manage such a large number of projects. Project work without proper management can cause even more chaos than we had before we started working on the project.

Project management without management can cause chaos -Milan Krajnc

The project should be managed by an expert from the field he/she is in charge of and should have a coordinator who carries out the administrative part of the project. Such a coordinator can be a coordinator for all the project leaders, which means that they deal with the profession and he with the administration. After all, it is the administration that causes most problems for the project experts. This
person or group of coordinators is called a project office. The role of the project office is not only the administration, but also the coordination of the project team and, as those who are always late would say, “they are after me again”.

The coordinator is therefore the head of the project office, who, together with the project manager, takes care of a well-prepared schedule and budget.

Then the head of the project office informs each contractor about the tasks he has to perform and at the same time checks whether the tasks have been completed (it must not affect the quality and content, i.e. the task of the project manager) when the time is up. checks when the tasks should be completed towards the end. In the event of delays, it must inform all those involved in the project and
especially warn them if the project is on a critical path. All information and group communication must take place via the project office. The head of the project office ensures that all information is in one place and at the same time makes sure that everyone is informed about everything.

The “housewife” should coordinate them
The head of the project office should be a “housewife type”. If we know that a housewife is known for keeping everything in its place in her home, she knows exactly when a food is running out, she never runs out, she manages her finances very carefully and has authority in her field. The head of the project office should have the same qualities. It is sufficient that he or she has at least a sixth degree in economics with a good knowledge of computer science, is conflict-free, orderly and well-organized, and above all knows how to create authority and set limits. If it is a smaller company, this work can also be done by a business assistant. Otherwise, the secretary can be promoted to this position.

The project office is therefore not a free place where projects are managed, but a person who coordinates the information generated by the projects.

Tasks of the project office:

  • Keeping minutes,
  • Inform other members of the project team about changes,
  • Coordination of appointments and meetings,
  • Monitoring of financial and time schedules,
  • to inform about the tasks to be performed,
  • Search for alternative sources.

Advantages of establishing a project office:

  • Relief of the experts from the administration,
  • Increase the efficiency of the project team,
  • Improving communication,
  • effective coordination,
  • Risk reduction,
  • to increase the stability of the project,
  • to increase the stability of the project,
  • Save time and money.

The parents write the script, the children make the film

"Today a psychotherapist, not an economist, can save a company from a crisis".

Nowadays, when the extent of the general crisis is reflected mainly in personality crises, we hear more and more often that masks are falling and real faces of people are appearing. As I have been dealing with crises for more than 13 years, I have tried to find the simplest explanation for the phenomenon. The “tool” that helped me to explain the “mask game” is called Transactional Analysis.

In this essay I would like to introduce the term Transaction Analysis in a more popular form. The term is not well known to the public in our country, and when I mention it, the vast majority of them believe that it has to do with the economy, with finance. Even when reading the literature, which is Transactional Analysis, I did not find any explanation for it anywhere, or at least for me at the time when I had not yet studied it.

In this article I would like to show how everyone in his life with experiences comes to the basics of Transactional Analysis in a natural way. (Note: As a physics student I was a member of the Society for the Interpretation of Science of Kvarkadabra, where I “translated” high science into colloquial language. The contributions are summarized in the book: “WHY IS THE SKY BLUE?, Krtina 2004″)

If one would translate Transactional Analysis into colloquial language, one could call it Communication Analysis. These are not just the words of the message we have received. Everyone uses his own way of communication.

When we are in Slovenia and speak Slovene, it does not mean that we understand each other. In addition to the words (which is only 7%) the way of communication is also the color of the voice (which makes up 38% of communication) and body language (55%). The moment someone stands in
front of us and tells us something, we should not only pay attention to the words, because that would mean that we understand only 7% of what he wants to tell us, but we should look at him as a whole, because he tells us with his whole body. In technical language we would say that with the knowledge of transactional analysis the efficiency of information transfer is more efficient.

Parents write the script, children make the film - Milan Krajnc

However, before I continue to explain what Transactional Analysis is, I want to show that I came to the essence in a purely “natural” way, which means that I got to know it from my own experience, and that this is not something that Dr. Eric Berne (founder of Transactional Analysis, Modalities in Psychothotherapy) wrote and what we are learning today. But it is something of life, something that really exists.

Already as a student of physics I started to deal with the optimization of business processes in companies, which meant that I made the existing work in a company easier. The result was visible in lower costs, fewer complaints, better relationships and relieved employees and a resulting reduction in overtime. I was very proud of the result. However, it was not clear to me why the employees in the company started to resist after a while, and they simply did not want to accept the changes. Later, I realized that with the working method I proposed, the work would be much more transparent, it would be clear what exactly someone was doing and there would no longer be any collective responsibility. So the employees did not want to take responsibility.

Later I came across Choice Theory which led me to Reality Therapy (I completed it in 2002 with Dr. William Glasser Institute at Leon Lojko). The latter states: “that everyone is responsible for his or her own actions“. I started to apply Reality Therapy when introducing Project Management into the business process. I began to teach the employees of companies to take responsibility. I felt a “stable enthusiasm” within me, i.e. the changes lasted for quite some time. I used to have a “euphoria” that lasted for a short time. Despite the stable enthusiasm, the enthusiasm did not last long. Eventually the responsibility began to be distorted somehow, as if a greater influence was coming from somewhere. By researching corporate processes, I became a leader. My realization was that the power of the director’s information is strongest in the company. Just as he communicates information from “above”, the process takes place later. So nothing helped me to change processes, to work on the responsibilities of the employees, because my work was constantly destroyed by the director. It was absolutely clear to me that if I wanted to change something in the company, I had to start with the director.

When I started to deal with directors and get to know them better and better, I saw that each of them reacted differently. But almost everyone treats their staff the same way they treat their children. I began to pay attention to how they reacted to certain information, how they communicated with the staff, and saw that the staff understood the information they wanted to convey in a very different way.

So I myself brought many elements from the pedagogical faculty into the educational process I developed. Apart from the management method and my school, my priority remains the reorganization of companies, crisis management, crisis management, which I have been dealing with for 20 years.

Awards - Milan Krajnc

The expectations of the Director were much higher than the “skills” of the staff. He wanted from them the same thing that he himself was capable of, but they themselves could only do part of what he expected from them. Because the “imperfect” product came back to him, he returned it to the process and passed the bad mood on to the employees, and they put it back on him. In this way the dispute never ended and the product reached an almost desired level with a lot of energy, lost time and money.

It would be enough if the director would take the time to check that the employees would understand him and communicate with them, so that each of the employees would understand what he wanted to say. Then the task would be completed much faster, without additional costs and disputes. The director had to be taught to communicate and, above all, to be tolerant and listen to others.

But it was not clear to me why some directors were different? Not everyone was “explosive”, some took their time and were friendly to the staff, others were not interested in the staff at all, they just demanded. Then the question began to arise for me why we humans are different. Yes really, why are we all different?

Yes really, why are we all different?

When I started to do personal interviews with managers, I saw that they often mentioned their parents, their childhood, you could see that especially in family businesses, when they took over the business from their parents and their children already worked in them. I was lucky to see all three generations in
the same working environment (365 family businesses). There I saw the director doing the same as his father and his son doing the same as himself. Although everyone wanted to do it differently.

I thought to myself: If I wanted to change the process in a company, I first had to deal with the director’s parents. Of course, I did not mean this literally, but to change the beliefs that the director has within himself.

Most interesting, however, was the information that employees were looking for methods to get as close as possible to the director.

Everyone has invented their own approach. It was really interesting to watch them getting creative. When I watched from so far away, I saw that it was a game at the company. The director is the main actor, and everyone else creates games so as not to end the show. When I brought that to life, I realized that we almost all play. These games make us creative, but they also make us very tired.

My conclusion was that problems in companies are caused by the directors. Because they do not know how to communicate or say what you want. But his communication problems are caused by their parents, because in a way they carry them inside them.

So I started talking to the directors about their childhood, about the problems they have with their parents, from where I saw more and more similarities in the attitude towards the employees and the parents of the directors towards them.

I got the answer to the question why someone does not want to move his chair and everyone in the company has to take 10 steps more. Because, for example, his parent did not allow him to ride his new bicycle to school on the first day of school.

So the way led me to Transactional Analysis (since 2006 I am a student in a Transactional Analysis training for a Graduate Transaction Analyst – psychotherapist at the Institute for Psychotherapy of Transactional Analysis under Martin Bertok), because I wanted to find out what parents actually leave
in us and how to free ourselves, how to recognize what someone is telling me and how to live without games?

"Life is a stage and we have actors on it!

A myriad of questions prompted me to research Transactional Analysis. Especially the fact that we have many games in our lives and that we can live without them. In fact we are not even aware of the games. But if we look purely from the everyday life. We start the day by waking up in the morning with the partner in whose role we are, partner, lover, husband, friend… if there are children here, we also appear in the role of parents, educators, persecutors, etc., then the profession we are in, in the role of employees, superiors, subordinates, executors, motivators, etc. … We come home, maybe we visit the shop we are in between in the role of protector, logistician, etc., and at home the morning game is repeated: hunting, please, executing, …, using various tricks, games to achieve the desired goal. And when we are completely tired, we still have to use the game of seduction (when our partner does not notice us), when we want to rest in an embrace or simply feel that we exist too.

If we do this every day, we quickly notice that we are tired. What we suddenly see for ourselves, we feel that we are no longer ourselves, that we lead a different life, that we are available for others. That there are countless different people in our lives, someone else we are tired of. And then we ask ourselves: Who are we?

Countless miles and years must pass before we realize that our life is full of play. And so we come to the same conclusion as Dr. Eric Berne, which he supported in Transactional Analysis. He has described this particularly well in the book: “What game do you play?

Alone I realized that the games were beginning to tire me and I wanted to get out of them. At the same time I wanted to see the reason why we play at all.

What I saw with myself and especially with the managers of family businesses, I realized that we learn these games from parents or educators. So their life pattern continues through us. Their way of life is “implanted” in us, which we adapt in our time and space. Dr. Eric Berne justified this as a script – a script for our life.

If we look a little different. Before we are born into this world, we do not go into some preparation room where we would learn to live, but we simply come into the world as an “indescribable piece of paper”. We bring a few things into the DNA record – mainly traits, character and the like, but we learn to speak, behave, think, react by imitation. This means that the parents give us how we will live through gestures, lifestyle, a life scenario/life plan. You could say they program us. Just as we program computers that cannot make their own decisions, but do exactly what we tell them to. If we think about it a little bit now, we realize that almost every decision we make is influenced by the excellent performance of our parents. But we have the opportunity to get rid of them!

But where are they? Where are these parents? We can see in ourselves that we have a conscious and an unconscious part of consciousness. This means that we can influence some things and others not. We are amazed at how we react; at certain moments we say, “But this is not me”. And this is where our parents hide: in an unconscious part, in a part that we cannot control. This is the place where the script of our lives is written. I am not talking about fate, but about lifestyle, about decisions, about how we should dress, etc. All these recordings happen in early childhood, until the age of six.

Before I go into the lifestyle that is written in the script, I would like to say that since my teenage years I have been haunted by the idea of what the heart and mind are. When we were unhappily in love, we used to say that our heart longed for this person and our mind distracted us from it. It was a kind of  general saying, but I could not explain it to myself. I always imagined that there were two personalities in us. Well, now with the knowledge of Transactional Analysis things have become clear. There really are more people inside of us. Dr. Eric Berne described man as a being that constantly checks whether itexists. He called it a stroke, which means stroke.

An example: You walk down the street and meet a neighbor who comes in your direction, wishes you a nice day and smiles at you. You smile back and respond with the same wish. You have just exchanged “professions” with your neighbor. The line is a unit of recognition. Most of the time this exchange of professions is so close to us that we are not even aware of it anymore. Imagine a repetition of the event that happens like this. You walk down the street and meet a neighbor, you smile at him and he passes you by as if you were air.

If you are like most people, you would be very surprised at your unresponsive neighbor. You would ask yourself what is wrong? In fact, we need a stroke and feel deprived if we don’t get it (this is called attention in everyday language).

The facts are based on the findings of a very well-known study by Rene Spitz, who observed babies in an orphanage. They were well fed, clean and warm. However, they showed more physical and emotional problems than any other children raised by their mothers or other caregivers. Spitz concluded that the children lacked stimulation. All day they could only stare at the white walls of their rooms and had little physical contact with the staff at home. They lacked the touch, carding, and caress they would normally get from their parents.

Berne chose the word profession (caress), which refers to a child’s need to touch. As adults, we still crave physical contact. But we also learn to replace physical touch with other units of recognition. A smile, a compliment, a grim look, an insult – all these are signs that our existence has been recognized. Recognizable hunger is a term used by Berne to describe the need for recognition by others.

Professions can be verbal (greeting, praise, insult,…) or nonverbal (smile, gloomy look,…). Positive pods are those that the recipient perceives as positive, and negative pods are perceived as painful. From this we could conclude that people are looking for positive professions but avoiding negative ones. However, this is not true. Maybe there are even more! In reality, every profession is better than none.

This idea is also supported by an interesting study on rats (study name, performer). Two groups of rats were raised in the laboratory in identical empty boxes. One group received electroshocks a couple of times a day and the other no stimuli. To the surprise of the experimenters, the group receiving electroshocks developed better than the group without stimuli.

We, too, like rats, use both negative and positive pods to satisfy our hunger for stimuli. As children, we instinctively perceive this. We all experienced in early childhood how it is not to get a positive profession when you crave it. So we came up with different ways to get negative pods, despite their painful effect. We would rather suffer pain than be left without any profession (which is mainly reflected in families with violence).V odraslem življenju pogosto preigravamo ta vzorec iz otroštva in nadaljujemo z iskanjem negativnih strokov. To je izvor nekaterih vedenj, ki se zdijo samouničevalna.

Here we could also get the first answers as to why we are playing. Namely, our life scenario (Script) is constantly checking whether it is on the right track? Do we live as our parents taught us? If everything is according to the “plan” then everything is OK, if not, we cause a new game or in other words, we make the situation around us so that we will be Ok.

The goal of each scenario is ‘death’. Because it is the basic goal of life, it appears to us in almost every moment of life. If I write a little ironically, “Everything we do, we do to die,” which would otherwise say that the vast majority of things we do against our will, we do them to accommodate a life scenario written to please others. So I wrote earlier that we may even look for negative professions more often than positive ones.

I mentioned earlier that I found out for myself that there are several people living in us, whom I also met through Transactional Analysis.

Dr. Eric Berne also named these persons. In other words, he defined Transactional Analysis as a personality theory that shows us the psychological structure of a person. It uses a three-part model called the “ego state model”. This model also helps us to understand how people function and express their personality through behavior.

An ego state is a set of related behaviors, thoughts and feelings. It is the way we manifest a part of our personality at a particular time.

When I know, think and feel in harmony with what is happening around me in the here and now, and when I use all the resources available to me as an adult, I find myself in my “adult ego state”.

Occasionally I may know, think and feel in a way that reflects the reactions of my parents or other people who were important to me during my adolescence. Then I find myself in the “parent ego state”.

Sometimes I return to the way I behaved, thought and felt as a child. In these cases I am in the “ego state of the child”.

Each time we enter into communication, we address the interlocutor on the basis of one of the three basic states of self: as a child, as an adult or as a parent. Our interlocutor also addresses us on the basis of one of these conditions. The child and the parent have roots in our childhood, in the past. We know that the past characterizes us; Freud already said that a child is the father of man. Childhood determines our adult life in many ways. One might even say that somehow half of human beings are born, and the other half is created through education. Through education our inner psychic structures are formed. Someone who has very strict parents will probably be very strict with himself. And vice versa. A child is often characterized by inflammatory reactions similar to those in childhood; the parents, on the other hand, “return” to childhood by imitating the behavior of the parent figures.

If it can be said of parents and child within us that they are bound to the past, this does not apply to the adult. The adult does not imitate or present content from the past, but reacts independently, here and now. His behavior is in harmony with the reality of the moment. We all have all three forms of behavior, and every time we enter into any kind of communication we use one of these roles. If we look deeper, we could say that there are more roles. If we are a parent, we can be a caring parent, one who praises and caresses, an angry parent who forbids and criticizes, and so on. It’s the same with the role of the child: The first can be obedient, the second spontaneous and free, the third defiant. The concrete choice in this particular situation may depend largely on who our interlocutor is, on his or her form of communication with us. If he speaks to us sublimely, a defiant child will quickly awaken within us.

The choice of self-states is not fundamentally arbitrary, it depends on the individual’s experiences with himself and on previous personal experiences. In most cases, people behave spontaneously, especially if they are not familiar with these theories. Communication can also be very complicated: For example,
if our conversation partner reacts to an attack by a parent, the conversation can quickly end in an argument. If a conversation is continued as a child, he or she is immediately in a subordinate position. This type of communication can only be interrupted if we are aware of what is happening, which means that we are different from these roles, i.e. that we are an adult all the time.

So if we want to live without games, we need to resolve all resentments with our parents!

Transactional analysis is a method by which we can see more than others. We see the invisible and understand very well what someone is telling us. We could say that life makes us easier, because with a better understanding of ourselves and others, we do not waste time and nerves.

Of course, the article is not a promotion for transactional analysis, but is just one of the best tools I use to liberate the past. To sum it up in some way. The ego accompanies us throughout life. We actually learn to survive with it, but we have to be careful that something that is first a “solution” then does not become a cage for us. Namely, until we get rid of the shackles with our parents, we cannot get rid of the influence of the ego, and therefore parents who are initially supporters of life can represent an “effort” in a few years.

As I wrote in the title, indeed our parents write our screenplay, but that doesn’t mean we have to live it too, because we are the directors of our lives and we can change the screenplay at any time.

My strength is in being who I am! - Milan Krajnc

My strenght, lies in being who I am!

»...my strength is that I am what I am! « I have heard it a lot lately, in fact I have heard it countless times in the past, but only now loud enough and I have also begun to understand it.

In fact, I had before me the story of a person who had been very close to me since primary school. I thought he was the greatest because he was an excellent guy, a great athlete, he was the best in all areas, but not because I wanted him to be. He was just like that. As if he had it by nature, but at the same time he was relaxed, never under pressure, he always found a solution and was calmest when
everyone was in trouble… it just seemed easy to me… that is what I want to be.

Soon I found out that he is not the only person who is his role model, but that there is a whole line of us. So I began to observe this species, unlike our Superman. . . . . .over the years.

He still remained the best, in high school, in college… …even getting his Ph.D. with his left hand… he really was the best. The others followed him. I have seen some who deliberately competed for higher positions to get noticed, to accumulate material wealth, to get noticed… and to get as much media coverage as possible. And when we met every five years on the valet’s anniversary and he mentioned to some that he noticed them bilily, they were very proud… HE noticed me. I had the feeling that they lived, just for this compliment, every five years.

My strength is in being who I am! - Milan Krajnc

We met again last Friday after five years, and HE was still the same, maybe he looked stronger and more relaxed… probably because others around him were completely lost. Namely, that in that five year period, the political power changed, the depression… and some were out of office, they had no money and they had nothing to show for it… ON but he could show.

We did not hang out much on those anniversaries, but we drank coffee together almost every day. And today I really realize that he did nothing else but live life. In fact, he was neither “special” smart nor clever. He was just aware of his potential and he was just developing it. He was relaxed, calm inside and stayed on his path the whole time. He had no desire to prove himself, neither by material nor by media heroic deeds, although he had had enough of everything, and he did not compete for something that was only a logical consequence of his way of life.

He had no desire to prove himself, neither by material nor by media heroic deeds, although he had had enough of everything, and he did not compete for something that was only a logical consequence of his way of life.

Most of us are in search of a miracle potion, of inner strength… …and spend millions on it, travel all over the world… …but in reality, it’s all within us, we just have to get to know each other and start to enjoy it… and we really become the center of the world.

HE has always been a model for me in my work, when I developed the concept of Personality Transformation (SiriusPersonalTransformation), I observed what it is, why a person gets lost, why he falls or why he goes out of his direction…

My strength is in being who I am! - Milan Krajnc

And I saw that he had an advantage over others because of his upbringing. They never had much at home, but they were honest with each other and with their parents, we never spoiled him, but always treated him like an adult, and so he was the only one who grew up to be an adult and mature person. Because that was his greatest asset, he was mature… all of us who still came together on anniversaries when we were 40, and we were just kids… …but not those playful kids, but the kids who never got enough attention.

That is why when I developed the Personality Change Method, I followed the guidelines that it’s important to grow up, if not at 18, then at least at 40…or 60.

And this morning, after 15 years, he asked me why you pay for coffee every morning, why you do not even let me have coffee… because I pay for coffee and I learn from you how to become an adult.

Of course, he looked at me a little more strangely. He said I did not know exactly what I was talking about because he’s always the same and he does not know what it means to be an adult.

Fill out the form bellow to get the free e-book

And today was the first time I let him pay for coffee!

And that is how the conversation was, quite different today. I explained everything about my method and about the book I had just finished. He was surprised when I told him that HE is the main character. And then he asked me how much they would be willing to pay people to become like HE, and he laughed along.

When I told him the character and that people have been waiting their whole lives to live at least 5 minutes like HE, he just could not believe it. And all for the sake of education.

He said he was convinced that he had a tough upbringing, that he admired the neighbors for treating their children differently. But it is true that my parents were my best friends all the time and they always showed me who I was, they did not let me hide from anything or anyone, I served everything myself. I really feel that I do not have some problems in life and that everything is going well for me, but I always thought it was because I am not looking for problems and I do not complicate things. I have tried to say a little bit that as a physicist and a good connoisseur of nature I am always looking for optimal solutions… but now I see that in the first years my parents just gave me the right direction and showed me how to have myself and then you can have everything.

Therefore it is never too late, the vast majority can thank you and your parents for helping me to develop this method, which today helps more and more people to free themselves from the burdens of the past and to return to the path of their lives from which they strayed many years ago.

Sculptor of his thoughts - Milan Krajnc

Sculptor, his personalities

Exactly thirteen years ago I got tired of busy life, or the time came when I was almost suffocating in a well-established civil service that usually allowed a lot of creativity with young people in school, and I also had extra jobs in the media. There was a guaranteed income, lots of free time, but I felt like my heart was dying. Then I stopped looking down and feeling sorry for myself, but I stepped on the highest peak, closed my eyes and went down… I still fly today, after 13 years, completely free in my empire.

When I decided on an independent business path, I did not follow the crowd, but looked for an empty place, just like I practiced when I was dancing, you always had to look for an empty place on stage to be seen by the commission, it’s the same in business, if you want to be first, you have to find an empty place or… you have to be where nobody is. So until recently I was dealing with Crisis Management, although there was no crisis, and when the “crisis” came up, I started dealing with successes. Namely, that I stay true to my principles, that I never want to follow, that I do not want to be guided, that I just want to be the first and only one.

It is indeed written in my heart, and as I free myself from it, I feel trapped. Since I got to know myself in all these years through the shop and the mirror that was my environment, I was a sculptor of my own personality. I have seen that I had to hit the rock hard many times to get the desired shape. I saw that everything can be changed, only the basic material, not the material from which we carve our personality.

O meni - Milan Krajnc

We humans are basically the way we are born and our nature does not change for the rest of our lives. All we can do is to bring ourselves into the desired shape with our own hands, build our own properties, shape matter, but we cannot change its composition.

I have often heard it said that I am a dreamer who wants to change the world. And I have always taken that as a great compliment, and I was very proud of all these statements. And today, after standing on the 13th floor of my office for 13 years with an open view of the world and a company at the center of the world that will literally save the world, I am immensely grateful to everyone for the words of encouragement that I have followed and my dreams have come true.

The matter with which we are born is our dreams, which no one can take away from us, and if we believe in them without hesitation and at the same pace at which we walk the earth, the matter from the dreams will also come true.
And dreams only come alive when we make friends with the world we live in and realize that we can continue to build from here.

They say 13 is an unlucky number, and everyone runs away from it… …it’s the same as I described the dance contest earlier… 13 has positive power, but this power is hidden behind stories with negative content, so that 13 can keep its power. And when you are mature enough, all these secrets will be revealed to you.

All of you who believe in yourselves, do not look at your surroundings, but spread your wings, no matter what the situation is at any given time, do exactly what your heart desires. All the cradles that were built to protect the ego will fall; and the pain you will feel is just nostalgia, like a bad smell that quickly disappears.

Follow your heart and you will walk forever on the sunny side of your life.

I want women to live their dreams more intensely

Do not dream your life, live your dreams and How to win a woman? are the titles of two of the eight books signed by Milan Krajnc Pavlica, a 33-year-old personal and business consultant.

It helps people make changes in their business and personal lives by removing their psychological and energy blockages. He solves those who fail with psychotherapy with the help of energies such as reiki and theta healing. He teaches directors to be a director, teaches men to be men. It teaches people to set goals and helps them live what they sincerely want to be in their heart. We talked to him about successful women and men.

Blog - Milan Krajnc

How do men accept more successful, more insightful, more ambitious, and more exposed women? Are these in the often heard stereotype of “ambitious bitches” or women who know how to reach the goal or the realization of their dreams?

It very much depends on each man individually. A man who has low self-esteem and has never grown into a man takes a more successful woman as a competition or so as you yourself said. I like very ambitious women the most, because in a way I get motivation myself. It is good for women to come to the fore, but it is bad for those men who resist it, who are not willing to take steps forward on their own or do not dare to admit that women are better in all respects.

What does a man think when a woman openly and enthusiastically praises him for being attractive, for smelling nice, or for being nicely dressed? To conquer it or take it just as a compliment?

Rare Slovenian men are at such a level that when they receive a compliment, they would be able to distinguish what is just a woman’s praise and what is flirtation. Most men are convinced that women conquer them, and then they themselves approach them in this way or praise them with the intention of conquering them for adventure. However, the level of female maturity in Slovenia in the field of emotional expression is quite high, which means that women know how to give praise in various ways and at the same time maintain a decent distance.

What does a beautiful woman look like in a man’s eyes and what is an attractive woman like?

To me, all women who are honest and orderly are beautiful. Very attractive women to me, however, are those who are ambitious and are not intimidated by anything or are even feared by other men. The biggest mistake is when a woman thinks about what she should change about herself to make a man like her.

In what ways are women in leadership positions better than their male counterparts?

Women are better at organizing, taking responsibility, and connecting, and worse at delegating tasks. Their downside is also that they neglect themselves. Slovenia currently needs female leadership. Namely, we are in a phase when society is cleaning up, tidying up and arranging itself in some way so that it can achieve a new freshness. And above all, we need good organizers. These are women.

I want women to live their dreams more intensely - Milan Krajnc

What led to this?

The answer is in history. After World War II, men thought they had saved the country and rewarded themselves with leadership positions, taking a step back. The women were left with the support of three corners of the house and a fourth on top. They had to be extremely well organized, they had to handle expenses carefully, they took care of a tidy home and family. Where the men left most of the money in the inn, they took care of the money. This trait has been passed down through two generations to girls and women, who today occupy leading positions in the economy and political life. In fact, we men are the ones who forced women to become what they are.

In Finland, for example, 60 percent of women hold government positions, while in Slovenia only 11 percent. According to Eurostat data for 2006, only a third of women are still on company boards. How do you comment on that?

On the one hand, this is inhibited by men, and on the other hand, women’s self-esteem is still too low in some cases. Women should work harder on self-esteem. Given that these things are already changing, sooner or later this ratio will be 50 to 50 and then Slovenia will be completely balanced. Of course, men and women in leadership positions must also have male and female energy, which means that men will be men and women will be women. What bothers me most about Slovenian women is that once they take the lead, they do not live completely wholeheartedly. In a way, they take on the role of mother. They want to take care of the team, the partner, the children, they look at everything as if it were their children. In doing so, they forget about themselves. Above all, I want Slovenian women to live their dreams more intensively.

How is it known in the current generation of children that their mothers are more busy, that they want to be successful in business, good mothers and at the same time good partners?

Children are becoming more independent. They grow up very quickly. They are becoming very open and responsible.

Men also have feminine energy in them. How is it reflected?

Above all, a man must be a much more stable personality than a woman because he is a pillar of the family. This does not mean, however, that it is the man who decides who will do what, how much money someone will bring home to set the rules. The point is that when there is a crisis in the family or in the community, a woman can rely on someone. The man should show understanding, heart, he must recognize what the woman needs at that moment. But he can only understand this with feminine energy.

Yet a crisis often ends in an argument. Why?

Men make the biggest mistake when, when you lose the ground under your feet, you are in a bad mood, pushy, you have a headache, we accept your game, when you play a quarrel that you receive attention. A man should then see in his woman the most beautiful flower and so he should see her just always, no matter what verbal or non-verbal communication a woman uses at that time. Then it is best to calm her down with a word or a hug. When a man does this a few times, anger, rage, sadness, everything that is then in the woman, disappears. But as long as we men get involved in women’s games, so long will women be unhappy.

How does a woman recognize a balanced man, that is, a man with the right amount of female energy?

Such a man has a clear goal. He does not deviate from his principles, but at the same time he is willing to admit his mistakes. And he talks about his emotions. A man needs to be confident. If his partner is ambitious, he must be very self-confident and have a high self-esteem. Which does not mean that he must be successful in business. If a woman is successful in business on her own, she does not necessarily want a successful business man with her. Above all, he wants a stable man. That when she comes home tired, she can squeeze in to someone and be there just for her.

What should a woman do when her man is in need?

At that moment, the man also needs a shoulder on which to cry, and above all, someone to listen to him. He doesn’t need someone to teach him how to act differently. All he needs then is that there is someone out there who listens to him completely without criticism.

Who is usually with spouses who seek your advice to take the initiative to visit a counseling center? Are these more often women or men?

At a stage when the marriage is not yet about to break up, but is at the beginning of a crisis, women usually suggest visiting a counseling center because they want change, they want to save the marriage. But when a marriage gets to a stage where it’s already coming to an end, men usually call for help. But then the woman is already determined to go. Men, as with most things, solve everything at the last minute, when it is often too late. Therefore, I often advise against acting by force or subordinating a woman to a man. If the thing is just before the end, let it end and rather start anew. Let your partners take a break. If they are destined to be together in the future, they can begin to conquer again and the relationship begins on new foundations. After all, we can marry the same partner several times if we want to.

What should a partner never give up?

The partner should never give up on himself, his personal and intimate desires. You must not subordinate yourself to another, you must not subordinate yourself to children or the company. In certain cases, they may agree to compromise, but they must never cross the border. Where this limit is, everyone feels within themselves. But if one does not even know where the boundaries are, one must first know oneself.

Humans are not monogamous creatures… What do you advise on love adventures?

When couples come to me for marriage counseling, we never set a goal to save the marriage at any cost. We always strive to make every individual happy. But if the couple stays together, it’s even better. This is also my starting point: that everyone is satisfied. If it is only a sexual adventure, it is the will and freedom of an individual who can do whatever he wants with himself and his body, provided, of course, that he does not endanger the freedom and health of his partner. When people get married, the marriage certificate should not be valid indefinitely, but maybe only for ten years and then the spouse would renew the vow. Why? When we get married, we stop conquering because everything seems self-evident to us. If we forget our partner and are not successful enough in winning, then it will no longer be necessary for us to go to bed together in the evening, even if we wake up together in the morning. Everyone is a completely free being and can do whatever he wants.

And if we newly fall in love?

People fall in love many times in their lives. If we know how to fall in love with the same person, it only contributes to a common relationship, to marriage. However, we must never suppress the love that is born anew outside the already existing relationship, we must experience it in some way.

CategoriesPower Thoughts

It’s all in our heads!

The power of our thoughts has a decisive influence on our body and our environment. The breakthrough in thinking was achieved years ago with the book “The Secret”, which talks about the universe being an energetic whole with us. Because everything is connected, we can send our wishes into space and they will come true for us. The most important message of The Secret is that we can take our lives into our own hands, but at the same time it means that we are responsible for everything that happens to us, and that it is time to stop making excuses for others.

As people became aware of the power of thought, a purification, the removal of false and unrealistic things, was triggered. We have called this a crisis, and given the prophecies that 2012 will be the end of the world, I can say that the cleansing will take two more years, the relationship between the negative and the positive will collapse and the positive side will prevail. There will be slander, envy, sedition and the like, which is the basis for anger, violence and war.

Book of Secrets; It's all in our heads - Milan Krajnc

It is necessary to build the inside of a person

The mystery has united the energy of those who point to the need to focus on the human being, on the desires and needs of his heart, on the need to build up the inner self of a person. Building on the ego and the exterior of an individual proved to be a mistake when things built on unrealistic foundations began to crumble. People realized that they have to make their own decisions about their lives and not be led. The process started when people started to think mainly about themselves, to reflect on themselves, and this shows that the time of collective responsibility is coming to an end – the time of responsible society is beginning.

However, because of the psychological garbage we do not put many of our ideas into practice. Even if a person is born “pure” into this world, because he is like an indescribable piece of paper, through upbringing and through the example of his parents, he imposes a series of psychological garbage that prevents him from fulfilling his wishes, i.e. his potential. Let us only remember how our parents told us what we should not do, what we should demand, what others think…

Thus, at the age of three, the individual’s nature is “dirty”, and then the garbage is just piled up and piled up. And if we send our wishes from such an essence into space, they can be fulfilled for us in a completely different form than we wanted. This means that we must first clear our minds if we want the only energy in the universe to help us fulfill our heart’s desires.

Cleaning should be carried out systematically

But cleaning is anything but easy and not fast. However, it is possible if it is carried out according to a tried and tested model. Just over a year ago I started the process of reorganization in a company whose owner has been in a wheelchair for sixteen years due to a car accident. In a conversation about
the causes of the crisis in the company, I told him that it was caused by key people in the company, but he put them in this situation himself, which means that he himself is responsible for the situation. And if he eliminates the key factors for the crisis, he is also personally relieved and can put his feet back on the ground.

At first he laughed at me in disbelief, but the results were soon visible after he started to set clear goals and make decisions with a strong will. Some employees left, the climate in the company improved, and the company’s turnover began to grow as it had more and more satisfied customers.

At this time he too began to feel a tingling in his legs and the hope of being able to go back. But because he experienced both business and personal disappointments years ago, for which he blamed himself, an excessive psychological strain kept him in a wheelchair. He could not gather enough strength to walk, so we combed through all his psychological barriers and made a plan together to overcome them.

I guided him through the psychological cleansing on both a business and personal level, and the strength in his legs became more and more pronounced. And when he removed the last psychological barrier just over a week ago, he had enough strength to get out of the wheelchair and back on his own feet under his own steam. That night, he called me and he said, “I am standing.”

The real power of our life is in our heads, and it is up to us to use it and live according to our possibilities and heart’s desires. And if we want to be successful in business, if we want our company to do well despite the rapid changes, and if we want to be successful as key personnel in the company, then the removal of obstacles must take place at both the corporate and personal level. Only in this
case will the reorganization be sustainable.

How to get out of a personal crisis? "If you're up to your neck in shit, don't bow your head!" - Milan Krajnc

How do you get out of a personalcrisis? “When you are up to your neck in shit, do not bow your head”

The lesson of all rivers, fine words... is that we need to know ourselves well enough to help each other.

Counselors, therapists, teachers, gurus… just show us the way and teach us the skills to be ready for the moment when we meet ourselves. We get into a crisis by our own power and we have to get out of it ourselves. I will not talk in the article about why and how we get into a personal crisis, the focus will be primarily on the solution and at the same time on the advice not to fall back into a personal crisis.

We have always tried to find many explanations or solutions in nature and in natural phenomena. After all, nature has “worked” for billions of years and still exists. And who takes care of it? Alone! Just like man, we are always left alone in the end. We always have to take care of ourselves, because in the end we always make the decisions. Whatever we do, we always have to decide.

How to get out of a personal crisis? "If you're up to your neck in shit, don't bow your head!" - Milan Krajnc

And if we are really alone in the end, we have to be prepared for it. We have to be strong enough to stand up to ourselves so that we do not fall under the burden of the burdens we have imposed on ourselves.

To inform you,                                                                                                          to open your eyes                                                                                                     for the time of your decision has come,                                                                    when you read this book,
you will go with the times                                                                                          and start a new life,                                                                                                    you will overcome fear                                                                                              and become the Lord of the universe and yourself.

BUT BEWARE!

Every man has his limits.
(Introduction to the book Warrior without Face, 1994, Milan Krajnc)

The lesson of all rivers, fine words… is that we need to know ourselves well enough to help each other. Counselors, therapists, teachers, gurus… just show us the way and teach us the skills to be ready for the moment when we meet ourselves. We get into a crisis by our own power and we have to get out of it
ourselves.

Now on the path and back to nature.

Take the course of a stream as an example. If the stream flows, it is drinkable and clear, if it is dammed somewhere, the water in it becomes of bad taste and smell. The main difference is the temperature. The stream in the stream is colder. And if we look, where do we humans prefer it? In the warm. So you might say we like to stop and warm up a bit.

How to get out of a personal crisis? "If you're up to your neck in shit, don't bow your head!" - Milan Krajnc

We are almost always looking for comfort, or rather lightness. And the state of the stream in stagnation is equal to the state of the person in stagnation. When we feel good or safe in a situation, we try to “anchor” ourselves there. This security is basically just a feeling and is called the “comfort zone“; we are warm there and why should we move if we are nice, we manage the situation. Perhaps
even like the saying: “Better the first in the village than the last in the city.”

And as it gets warmer for us, we find it harder and harder to move. When I go back to the creek, to the part where we dammed it up – the dead sleeve, we could say that it’s getting warmer and warmer, but it also “smells” more and more, not to mention tastes. So we are talking about a comfort zone. However, we ourselves feel this as a bad feeling, dissatisfied with ourselves, the environment also hinders us… we could say that we are feeling the first signs of a personal crisis. We complain, but we do not know why, because basically there is nothing wrong with us.

To sum up: when a stream flows, it is clear and drinkable; when we are in “movement – we develop – we grow personally”, we are satisfied with ourselves, we are happy. When the stream is dammed – dead sleeve, the water is tasteless, disturbed and has a bad smell; when we do the same for a long time, we do not develop, we start to be dissatisfied with ourselves, we are depressed, everything
around us is “wrong”. This means that we have to get out of this comfort zone, even though we feel warm and comfortable. We will “stink” in this puddle, and everyone will avoid us, even though it is usually overfilled in such puddles. But nobody likes frogs either.

We call a “comfort zone” a state in which we feel good in principle, but we know that not everything is right, and yet we do not move until there is a crisis.

How to get out of a personal crisis? "If you're up to your neck in shit, don't bow your head!" - Milan Krajnc

It is the most dangerous zone because it can deceive us very quickly, it lowers our self-confidence and we lose our sense of reality. A friend said ten years ago that “one joint a week really cannot kill”; I went to his funeral yesterday because he died of a heroin overdose; but now he’s carefree, forever.

When we enter the zone of the period, we must above all be stable, and it is only suitable for a short rest. A longer stay can be “fatal”. In any case, it opens the door to a dark world, which we call a personal crisis. The personal crisis begins in our head and then slowly passes to the physical organs, which at first leads to colds, headaches… and eventually cancer. Now this does not mean that everyone who sits down and rests for a while will die of cancer, but it does mean that we should never forget ourselves.

There is always a way out of a personal crisis. But not in the easy way that we got into them.

How to solve the crisis? How to get out of the problem and solve it? - Milan Krajnc

How can the crisis be resolved, how to get out of the problem and how to solve it

When solving crises, the first step is the most important, if we make a mistake with the first step, it is better to withdraw immediately.

The crisis can be solved by those who are not burdened with the problem. That is why it is always advisable in companies to hire a crisis management team, a group of external consultants or a consultant to cut the “Gordian knot”, calm the terrain (communication, atmosphere, organization) and prepare the ground for a new organization. Then there must be a leadership or a guide to bring the new organization to life. This person is actually the new director.

Every day I hear the sentence: “How do I solve the crisis? The answer can be very simple when we know who caused the crisis. It is of course more difficult to solve. But the first condition we have to be aware of is that every crisis is solvable. The most difficult thing is to solve the crisis that we ourselves have caused. We make the biggest mistake when we start to solve the crisis that we ourselves have caused, because the result will be an even bigger crisis.

When we solve a crisis, we must not be narrow-minded, but must rise very high above the problem and always look at it globally or as a “big picture”. Only in this way can we begin to solve the crisis at the right end.

A former director (when we talk about a company) or a crisis manager can never run a company when it comes out of a crisis. Why? The former director’s behavior has brought the company into a crisis, which means that he must first change his behavior patterns if he wants to run the company in a different way (so that he can continue to run the company conditionally) if there is no new crisis. However, a crisis manager only knows how to solve crises, which means that when a company comes out of a crisis, it is no longer able to manage it, but can recreate a crisis so that it can solve it again.

How to get out of a personal crisis? "If you're up to your neck in shit, don't bow your head!" - Milan Krajnc

If we are the ones who caused the crisis and still want to lead the company forward (especially if we are the owners of the majority capital in that company), we have to change the patterns of behavior that caused the crisis in the company. This can be done during the restructuring of the company. In this way, the company and the director are “rehabilitated” at the same time.

First, the director must learn to get out of the problem. This means looking at himself and the company as a third party. Because while he is working in a company, the director starts to look at the company as one of his body organs and no longer pays attention to the mistakes that occur.

Short exercise:
Let’s try to imagine that our image is sitting opposite us and consider it as a third person, a person we do not know, and slowly start to describe it. What do we see in her, what do we think about her clothes, her attitude, her facial expression, what do we think about her life goals, what does she expect from the day, how does she feel, how does she react in certain situations… in short, as you have
already noticed, we gradually shift our attention to other areas as we get to know ourselves in other ways. Such a conversation should last at least 30 minutes, several days in a row. After this time we will be very clear, and above all it is advisable to change the daily place. Of course, we will not solve the crisis overnight in this way, but we will gradually begin to recognize the real problems and their causes, i.e. we will gradually be able to begin to eliminate them. However, the process may take too long, so I advise you to seek an external consultant or therapist.

zupanska-akademija-prijava - Milan Krajnc

If I do a recap. If you feel that something is going wrong, or if your colleagues, close, business partners are dissatisfied, stop the regular activities, but do not make any drastic changes at this point, but we need to take time to think and get out of the problem. If heaven is successful, seek outside help. Remember that any crisis is solvable, even if it seems impossible at this moment.

Reorganization and crisis management - Milan Krajnc

Reorganization and crisis management

The causes of crisis situations can be different. If we are the owner or director, we must first find fault with ourselves and not resort to dismissals, stricter controls and violent cost-cutting, because such measures reduce the quality of services and worsen relations. We must first make sure that employees feel better at work and have all the prerequisites for high-quality work. We reduce costs by optimizing the work process, increasing employee motivation, encouraging development and investing in ourselves.

We hesitate to say the word “crisis” because it does not do any good, so we say it in various unbearable situations. So it is an uncomfortable situation over which we have neither the control nor the power to change it. So a crisis is only a state that shows a disorderly course.

We speak of a crisis in a company when the company loses control over the key factors that influence its operations and work processes.

We speak of a real crisis when we admit it. It only depends on what stage it is at. So we can say that the company is already in a crisis when we do not have any business premises or when customers are dissatisfied, maybe when expenses are higher than revenues, or. when we do not even know what is going on and where it’s all going… Above all we have to pay attention to the little things.

It’s good to be aware that most crises are solvable and that none of them is endless in time. More important is that we feel the crisis and find out why it happened. With a detailed analysis of the situation we will find out what we are solving. If we operate with false data, we can trigger an even bigger crisis.

Before we start solving the crisis, we must set ourselves the goal of what we want to achieve with the solution.

How can we recognize a crisis?

There is no scale that shows us that the company is in a crisis. After all, we decide for ourselves when we are in a crisis, to define the term. There are parameters that say that the company is successful, so if the company does not meet this parameter, you could say that it is unsuccessful, or. that it is in a crisis.
The first indicator is certainly the ratio of income to expenditure, and unfortunately this is the only thing that most directors monitor.

Reorganization and crisis management - Milan Krajnc

We often find that individual employees complain about relationships and conditions… and then management says, as long as the outcome is good, it’s best to keep it that way. And that is where the biggest mistake lies. After all, the director only considers the success of the company in terms of financial parameters, but this does not ensure the long-term stability of the company. We must be aware that the company is based on people (human capital) and that they shape the work process. Through their work they contribute to the growth of the company. Just as the success of a company is influenced by their work, it can also be influenced by the failure of the company. A company is a whole, like a human body, which consists of certain organs that can function normally. For the body to feel comfortable, all organs must function well. It is the same in a company, everyone contributes to the success of the company, and everyone must feel comfortable in it. That is why we in the company must pay attention to the “climate” or the well-being of the employees. Here we see the first steps that
can lead to a crisis. We must pay close attention to the comments of the employees. We have to examine the comments carefully, as we humans are naturally inclined to find shortcuts and laziness.

Employees who are directly related to customers can also pass on their dissatisfaction to customers. Customers will not only be dissatisfied with the attitude towards them, but above all with the service and quality of the products. We must also measure customer satisfaction, complaints, the return of old
customers… this information can tell us the most about the actual state of our company. If we find that complaints arise or even increase because of our mistakes, that old customers do not return, we can say that we are on the verge of a crisis situation. In this way, costs start to rise, and at the same time each new customer will bring a bad reputation with other potential customers, so that the demand for our products starts to decrease, which will later be reflected in the difference between income and expenses.

Because it is difficult to measure the climate, because we do not know when employees are telling the truth or what complaints depend on, we must pay attention to the unconscious factors and signs that our employees show. Let us look at a few examples:

I was called by a friend who is the director of a computer company with ten employees. He heard that I wanted to set up new offices, and he wanted to introduce me to a remote control system that would be installed at an early stage of construction. During the presentation, he was repeatedly interrupted by the phone or someone looked into the meeting room. I noticed that he was getting impatient. He began to lose the connection between the sentences. I stopped listening to him as a client and began to observe him as a client.

The signs he was showing were the first signs that the company might be in a crisis, for which the director would transfer responsibility to the employees or other factors. After all, responsibility is the ability to react to decisions made, to defend and justify them. The person who accepts the consequences of his actions is therefore responsible. He is always ready to justify and explain his work
and the situation, and above all he is responsible for his actions. As a rule, we are all ready to take responsibility for success, we all want to sign the community’s recognition, and it is more difficult for us to acknowledge the responsibility for failure. Therefore, the essence of responsibility lies in the impartial assessment of the situation and recognition of responsibility for negative consequences.

Let us return to the example given. The fact that a friend’s phone was on during the presentation meant that he was not picked up completely and that he was afraid of losing (so as not to miss anything). I assumed that he was overwhelmed because he had no organized organization, did not trust his co-workers, and did not create authority (this became apparent when others entered the meeting room).

At work, we pay too little attention to everyday things. We do not observe how the employees behave or feel, we do not even notice ourselves. We mainly focus on global factors in the company, such as sales, stock, purchasing, costs…
If we notice that the quality of the products is poor, that customers are dissatisfied with the services, that profits are falling and costs are rising, we will not talk about indicators of a crisis, but about a state of crisis. However, we need to think much earlier about all the above-mentioned causes of the crisis. We must not even allow them to happen. When we are a director or business owner, we should pay attention to everyday things.

We have to ask ourselves how we feel in the working environment, whether we like the colors of the walls, the arrangement of furniture in the room, whether we are satisfied with the clothes and the relations in the company, whether we like the company of colleagues, whether we like working with customers…
Many of the causes of the crisis can be traced back to such self-evident facts. Let us look at an example:

A design firm with ten employees bought its first premises. Because they ran out of money for the equipment, they bought it at the auction of a company that went bankrupt. They whitewashed the rooms, set the tables in “L” and started working. Everyone was happy to be in their premises. The work they did was always well done and the customers were satisfied. After two years of operation, technologies began to change and the company continued at a steady pace. Although their work was still being carried out successfully, the profits were declining. The company did not invest enough in development, and at the same time there was no stimulating atmosphere, as if time had stopped two years ago. As more people were now needed for the same work, the company decided to hire a business secretary. Her first action was to redecorate the premises – as there was no money for new furniture, she changed the layout, added some flowers and gave the white walls some “spring” shades. Slowly the employees got new ideas for improvements, exchanged opinions, looked for new marketing possibilities… Changes happened even though nobody forced them to.

If the company remained stable, it would experience an organizational and financial crisis within a few years. The reason would be a constant work that does not adapt to the market. However, the colors on the wall have partially changed their view of the work they have been doing for many years.

Another example:

The young entrepreneurs with seven employees have created a successful production company in five years. They used to work eighteen hours a day. As the demand for their products grew, they decided to expand the premises and hire additional staff. They themselves continued at the same pace. Despite more employees and more modern technology, the quality of the products deteriorated. One of the partners was interested in a girl and found out that he had forgotten his appearance, so he started fitness. He gained physical endurance and encouraged his partner to do the same. Over time, they noticed that the quality of the products improved.

The reason for this was that they had been too tired before and did not notice their own mistakes due to their commitment to the environment. With increasing physical performance they became more resilient and relieved. If it had continued at the previous pace, the errors would have increased and with it the costs, as their productivity would have decreased. All they had to do was divert attention
and realize that even the body would be emptied like a machine if we did not maintain it.

Another example:

The director and owner of a successful service company with thirty employees decided to reward the family with an extended holiday because they had not been on leave for so many years because of his work. After three weeks he returned to the company and almost suffered a stroke. There were more complaints than in ten years, the services were not provided within the agreed deadlines… He called a meeting at which he threatened the workers with dismissal and insulted them. Relations within the company have deteriorated, as has the quality of services. The director found that he no longer felt comfortable in the working environment. Since he did not want to dismiss them all at once, he decided to find his deputy or a new director. The new director restored the old situation and even increased the
level of services and profits.

The former director quickly became aware of the mistake of reacting in the wrong way. He blamed himself for the consequences, as he did not teach anyone to do his job. Then he wrongly condemned the staff for the situation they could not forgive him for, destroying trust or good relations. He had two options – either to dismiss everyone and hire new employees, or to leave the management position himself and thus eliminate the cause of the situation, otherwise the situation would eventually lead to the collapse of the company. He took responsibility for his actions.

The causes of crisis situations can be different. If we are owners or managers, we must first find fault with ourselves and not resort to dismissals, stricter controls and violent cost-cutting, because such measures reduce the quality of services and worsen relations. We must first make sure that employees feel better at work and have all the prerequisites for high-quality work. We reduce costs by optimizing the work process, increasing employee motivation, promoting development and investing in ourselves.

The company has to be “in design” at all times. It is advisable to step down as the owner from the position of the managing director and participate as an “external” professional partner without arousing emotions; we must always listen to the comments of employees and other business partners. We try to encourage the creativity of our employees and take responsibility for our own actions.

Another example:

They called me from a construction company with twenty full-time employees where they want to use Microsoft Project at work. After a brief conversation with the director, I prepared a series of presentations in which they were to teach their “project managers” how to use MS Project. After five hours, I found that the audience did not understand what they were learning and had difficulty understanding the basics of the program. They said that they would rather build the house than make a schedule of how to build it. It became clear to me that they do not even know what a project is and that their work is probably not organized, but there is a kind of organized chaos. The seminar on how to use the project management program became an analysis of their projects, how they start, run and finish them. We analyzed one of their past projects, entered all the starting dates and changes that took place during the implementation, and also took into account the financial side. We soon found that the project ended up in the red, although they themselves were convinced of the opposite. The director asked me to analyze three other major projects they are currently working on. The results were disastrous. He found that if the company were to operate in this way, it could be shut down. He found that they were in crisis. The director decided to use Microsoft Project because he was aware that he was not managing the projects and that everyone was late. However, every delay costs something, but he did not know how much. The introduction of a control system in such a situation would lead to an even greater crisis than could have occurred if the work had been carried out as before. At the moment there is a kind of “organized chaos” in which everyone is in, but it is primarily based on the feelings of individuals who have the whole concept of work in their minds. The work continues, but the loss is gradually increasing. However, the company would not notice this until two years later, when some projects would be completed. First the whole company had to be analyzed. First, all the projects that had been carried out were listed and the order of what had already been done and what still had to be done was specified so that the project could be completed. We determined the duration of each activity and the person responsible and evaluated it financially, so that we could get an overview of the current situation. We determined the occupancy of all employees and subcontractors working simultaneously on several projects and received a financial comparison between the planned and already spent funds. The data obtained showed us that most of the employees were overworked, that some work and machinery was planned carelessly and that the projects would end up financially with a huge loss that would ruin the company. From the data obtained, we were able to draw a diagram of the flow of information, i.e. a diagram in which each box represents an activity. We drew them in the order in which they followed each other and connected them to the persons responsible. This gave us an idea of how the communication between the workers was going on. We also identified lack of or incorrect information that was the cause of delays or unnecessary work. At the same time we also carried out a personality analysis and found that some people were in conflict, which caused additional communication difficulties. The director got a comprehensive picture of his company. This was followed by the question of how the crisis could be resolved. In our case, the director did not inform the company’s employees that the company was in a critical situation, but remained calm. He called a meeting to explain the finding that most employees are overworked and that he wants to change the way they work so that employees feel better at work and the burden is reduced when they return home. The employees accepted the new way of working without comment. All projects were completed on time and the savings were used to compensate for the previous loss. We eliminated the crisis in this company before it actually occurred. It was only necessary to calm our nerves, to order all currently important activities correctly and to follow the path we had chosen in the implementation. The reasons for the crisis were mainly vaguely written responsibilities, too much social sensitivity of the managing director towards the employees, miscommunication and bad attitude.

How can the crisis be overcome?

It is not recommended to solve the crisis by the internal team of the company. This is the team that caused the crisis. And because everyone is in the “problem”, they do not see it. So the crisis can be solved by someone from the outside who is not involved in the company. Depending on the size and nature of the company, it is advisable to hire an external expert or an external team. The crisis manager must be an impartial person and must not believe 100% what the customer tells
him about the problems and the reasons for them in the company. But he must see it with his own eyes. This is checked by a detailed analysis. The analysis gives him the causes of the crisis and the answer to what is going on in the company at all.

The crisis must never be solved by reducing material costs and layoffs. We can dismiss the wrong employees. Therefore, we should not take any action without a proper analysis.

It must first determine what the company’s goal and strategy is and measure whether the employees understand it. From this it can already be seen that the problem lies only in the wrong communication and lack of motivation. Then a detailed analysis of the processes and the flow of information is carried out, showing where there are time delays, how the individual people understand each other, where the burdens lie, what the results of the individual functions are. Parallel to this, a personal analysis of the employees is carried out, which shows their potential, their development possibilities as well as their perception of information and flexibility. With a picture of the employees’ personal characteristics and the flow of information, the origin of the crisis can be determined very precisely. An analysis of the information system and business documents is also necessary. The latter analyzes only show us the efficiency of IT and compliance with the law on business documents, so that random changes do not lead to new crises or unannounced crises. Very important is the financial and cost analysis, which must be compared with the analysis of processes, which shows where unnecessary costs or. where more can be saved and what are the costs without which the company could not survive.                                                Only when we have a complete “map” of the company do we see what the real problem of the company is and where the causes of the crisis lie. First of all, it is necessary to remove the causes so that they do not cause new problems when they are solved.

Practice has shown that most crises are caused by ignorance of the company’s goals and strategy, which later results in inappropriate communication, personality complexes come to the fore and the consequences become visible in bad customer relations, a bad climate in the company, irrational use of materials and time. later on, higher costs and complaints and finally, red figures in the balance sheet.

Resolution of the crisis

On the basis of the information obtained, management must decide which strategic decisions to take. The crisis manager must not leave the solution of the crisis to the management itself, but must guide it in its implementation. After all, they are still inside the problem and he is watching from the outside. When solving the crisis, the management must not forget themselves, because they are the ones who have led the processes so far, they are directly responsible for the crisis. And in order for the crisis not to continue, they must also change their habits.

The most difficult thing is to admit one’s own mistakes because we do not observe our actions or because we are convinced that they are the best. The most difficult of the possibilities is to analyze yourself without the help of others. For this we need a strong will and an unforgiveness towards ourselves, similar to the individual reaction when climbing on rocks or in the desert. However, with few
exceptions, people do not know how to be impartial towards themselves, so that such an analysis is rather hopeless. The second way is easier – by talking to an impartial observer (consultant, as in the analysis of processes) we can easily, without feeling agony and doubt, come to insights that reveal a clear view of ourselves, our own thought patterns, achievements, fears, doubts…; in short, by
discovering and skipping obstacles, we learn to walk and run with the consultant on “terrain” that has usually caused us problems.

In the analysis, the consultant is primarily interested in the behavior of the consultant; on the basis of communication, word usage, sentence type, posture, hand movements and other factors, the consultant decides on the occurrence of mistakes that he makes unintentionally and unconsciously. The counselor does not blame the counselor and does not try to blame him, but on the contrary – he
helps him to discover improvements and to become aware of the mechanisms that prevent his success. Behavioral awareness helps the counselor to get closer to the goals and improve life. We can say that the counselor somehow holds up a mirror to you, in which you look at yourself and correct what you do not like about yourself. Instead of destructive behavior, you will build up a constructive attitude based on the consultant’s observations and advice, thus preventing negative
emotions from jeopardizing your ambitions.

How do you prevent a crisis?

We have to start solving the crisis when we work best and have the most money. We always have hidden reserves in the company, especially in time. That is why we have to work on process optimization and the development of new technologies in addition to employee motivation. In this way we become more competitive on the market, we reduce costs and secure permanent employees.
We can only afford this if we have the financial and human resources to do so, and if we are in a crisis, we do not think about development at all, the employees are dissatisfied, and we do not pay attention to tools and materials, but try to produce them as quickly as possible. it will be possible to sell it, and in such a case the crisis is very difficult to solve. So do your best not to let it happen. The company and the employees must be constantly “blown” by the changes.

What should the country do in a crisis

We must not privatize everything, the crucial things must remain in the hands of the state, because they are all that makes basic survival possible – and communication is today a condition for basic survival.
I could concentrate on boutique tourism, whose partial goal could also be production.

I could concentrate on boutique tourism, whose partial goal could also be production. The article “What should the state do in a crisis? is a continuation of the article “How to get out of a personal crisis? Every crisis begins with the individual, and individuals make up the country. This means that we cannot save the country if we start saving the country first. We have to start with ourselves
first. The article gives general guidelines and details in the above-mentioned manual.

The article gives general guidelines and details in the above-mentioned manual.
The current “anarchy” in the country and at some banks only exacerbates the situation in the country. Everyone who is just below the top of the state and financial institutions still has enough bread to avoid starvation, and all those who have filled these pantries are slowly running out of supplies.

In other words, it is time for them to come ashore, because they are now floating somewhere in the clouds. Only those who had contact with reality here on earth, those who had their feet firmly on the ground, could realistically follow what was happening around us. Everyone who was at the top wanted more and “flew away”. They lost contact with the ground and could no longer see what was happening around them. Everyone set their own goals, but they no longer had a base here on Earth. Namely, the goals came from their self-state, from ego-states: “this is me, this is me, I am the best…” The game between these ego states started because they are

competed to see who will be better, who has a bigger one, who has more… and the game lasted as long as they could “stack” their toys in a pile. But since this pyramid had no solid foundation, it started to collapse, the pyramids/empires started to crumble.

Ego states completely disrupted the balance, but the nature whose heart was affected quickly began to heal its wounds on its own and restore balance. If nature could no longer take care of itself, it could not take care of those of us who live in it.

The same phenomenon is found in society, more precisely in families, among women, among mothers. Mothers would do anything to give their children everything, everything good. They have two jobs, they tear themselves away from food, they try to give their children the best schools… and if there is violence in the family, they want to protect the children from beatings. And how long can a mother like that hold out? Maybe not even until the child comes of age.

A child needs parents at all times, not a little later, not even tomorrow, but here and now… A child does not need protectors, but it needs educators. It needs to be open to the world. A child learns by example, so the parents must be stable, rested and happy. This means that they have to take care of themselves first, so that they can then take care of the child. And as much as they can give him, it will
be enough for him, because only then will he see where the real limits are to keep us healthy. Otherwise the child will not learn this and think that it can do more, unlimitedly … and then grow up to become a person who crosses boundaries.
And this is where the current financial crisis began.

Mothers have given us more than they were able to.

Yes, now we all take responsibility and no longer apologize that our mothers are to blame, because we are adults and can take our lives into our own hands. When we were children, someone guided us, that was mum, and now that we are physically grown up, we obviously still need someone to guide us, someone to show us the direction, now that we are completely lost. That is the leadership of the country, the people we have gathered, because the best among us are those who know what they are doing and where they are going, and we will follow them.

What should the country do in a crisis? Milan Krajnc

Nothing is happening right now! When the current stops flowing, a puddle forms and the puddle in our country still stinks very badly.
But the first condition to get out of this puddle is to decide where we will go, in which direction. If we do not set our course, we will continue to wander from edge to edge and we will continue to get stuck in puddles. So someone has to show us the right side to go there if we cannot already decide for ourselves.

For centuries, Slovenians have had the only goal: “Let us become independent, we want to have our own country! We succeeded in doing this at the beginning of the 1990s, but then our goal has remained the same. We went to Europe and opened the door, but our general goal is still the same: we want our country. So, on the one hand, we opened the door to the outside, and on the inside we closed more and more, first the regions, then the municipalities, there were more and more of them … and then the gardens with big fences. So what do you want? Are we open to the world or do we want to close it completely?

We do one thing and think another. We have to agree on that first. Do we go in or out? I think this is also the biggest problem of many men in Slovenia – they do not know if they would go in, and if they are already in, they want to go out immediately… That is why women are not happy with Slovenian men on average, because the men do not know what they want, but still do not finish what they
started.

So you have to decide whether you want to go out or not. If we go out, foreign policy must be guided by this, and the “reception” of foreign guests at the legal-administrative level should be hospitable. Otherwise we will close all the doors, and in the end we will be all alone… our neighbors will be in our way, everyone will have their own house on a big ranch where we will live all alone.

Once we have decided whether we want to go in or out, our next step will be to answer the question of what we want to make of the Slovenian state – be it a tourist, industrial, high-tech,… country.

What should the country do in a crisis? Milan Krajnc

Why is this important? Because we cannot sell land for production facilities in the area that we have designated as a tourist area in the development plan. We could earn more that way, but we must not allow ourselves too many paradoxes.

This is particularly important now that the country is in crisis with its financial injections. So where should we invest money? In the production of companies that have no future, or in tourist facilities that need to be completely renovated? If our aim is production, then of course we should invest money in production!

I would like to say that only if we have a clear direction will the financial injection sting exactly where the pain is, and the pain will also disappear very quickly. However, if we guess and sting in different areas, we will still have a lot of pain before we reach the target, unless, of course, the vaccine runs out sooner.
Under no circumstances should we sell telecommunications, logistics, energy and financial companies. Let us think about what can happen if we completely privatize telecommunications or energy companies and then that company collapses and the state no longer has any influence to save it. How will we communicate? Like the Indians!

Maybe a bit drastically, but imagine that tomorrow there will be no more telecoms, and therefore no more Mobitel and SiOL, where will we be then? You can say: “Yes, because we have Si.mobil, Tušmobil, Telemach (companies for telephony, mobile and internet)… that we really have them, only in which networks? Telecommunications !!!!!! (slightly generalized, but highly dependent).

However, all this is quite possible. We must not privatize everything, the decisive things must remain in the hands of the state, because they are all that makes basic survival possible – and communication is now a prerequisite for basic survival.

What should the country do in a crisis? Milan Krajnc

What would I do? I would concentrate on boutique tourism, whose sub-target could also be production. Let me give you an example: Slovenia has a long tradition of craftsmanship, which means we have knowledge that the world lacks. We could therefore concentrate exclusively on development, as we do not have the production capacity to supply the world.

Since we are of Slavic origin, we could cooperate with Slavic countries that have sufficient capacity. Since Slavic blood runs through our veins, communication can also be much easier and faster. In Slovenia we would take care of development,
marketing, sales and coordination. The production part and the logistics would be done in one of the Slavic countries, whose goal would be production. In Slovenia we could have only boutique production. We know how to do the best things ourselves.

That is why there is a lot of space left for tourism. But not for megalaxies, mega-hotels, but for boutique things, for tourist farms, settlements… …for everything we have had for centuries, they just need to be restored.

Slovenia could be a boutique that specializes in quality things. So people would do more things with their hearts, they would do what we know best and what we enjoy doing. In this way we could also achieve a high profit, because high-quality things in small quantities always fetch a high price.

If we would do things with the heart (which makes us happy), money would only be a logical consequence of our work. All the Slovenian state (the administration) should do is to ensure comprehensive marketing and simplify administrative procedures. The previous government has already started to implement many of these measures, but it would take another term of office to complete them, but unfortunately it did not succeed. Apparently there was already a reason for this that was big enough. Perhaps it was because it did not lay a sufficiently stable
foundation, that it did not have a specific objective; for example: why did it reduce wages, to what end did it change the systematization of the public sector?

Once we have achieved the objective that has been set, we must adapt the Constitution and then the legislation, which will lead to a rationalization of legal and administrative procedures. The Slovenian state is now too expensive because things are duplicated. I am not saying that the state apparatus must be downsized, that people must be made redundant, but above all we must say who does what and why, and what the result of this work should be.

Only when we know this will we know, even in crisis situations, where we have to be careful not to collapse the whole state apparatus and to channel money into development or the economic sector rather than into our own apparatus, because that can have the same effect as a sinking boat when water flows in faster than we can pour it in.
Yes, we really need a target first! But we need to clean ourselves thoroughly before we even get to the bottom of it.

In any case, a woman should take over the leadership of the country for a while. We do not want to separate men and women in this way, but the men have to come to terms with the fact that women can organize better and that Slovenia needs a female “housewife” during this time to clean and fill the pantries.

To achieve the goals we have set, we need a responsible and stable leader.

“Where there is no tiger, even a rabbit can be considered a ruler.” Confucius* –

this was written three years ago, so some facts are no longer relevant, the concept is current.
